### How do you put the oil in? seems to suggest to put it in the gas tank. How much?

Hi Barry, There's two types of mower oil, There's the oil for the sump (4 stroke mowers ONLY) and the 2 stroke grade is just two stroke oil (2 stroke mower ONLY) If you own a 2 stroke mower then yes you actually add the oil to the gas before you put it in the gas tank (25 to 1 ratio) but If you own a 4 stroke mower then you DON'T put the oil in the gas tank. There is (two) capes, 1 for the gas and the 2nd cap is there somewhere for the oil.... Have a look at the link below... CHEERS..

### Is it 4 stroke or 2 stroke

Does it have a dipstick that indicates the amount of oil?
If it has, it is a 4 stroke and does not require an oil/fuel mix.
If it does not have a dipstick, it is a 2 stroke and will require a mix of oil and fuel.
Without knowing anything about your genset, I would think that it is a 4 stroke.
A 2 stroke motor would deliver the power too high in the rev range.

### Do u change oil on a 2 cycle

geez mate what planet r u on?
Two strokes require you to put 2 stroke oil in the fuel and the motor gets its lubrication that way. most r 50-1 meaning 100mls of oil to 5l 0f petrol so no you dont need to change the oil on a 2 stroke as you only need to do that on a four stroke

### Scooter 49cc

well this scooter has a 2 stroke engine (meaning it mixes oil and gas) so it would need any kind of 2-stroke oil, it is always recommended to NOT buy the cheapest oil and rather to spend a little more on an oil brand that works better.

### WHERE DO DO YOU PUT THE 2 STROKE OIL MIX IN A SHERCO SM50

hi i dont know these bikes personally but, they will have a seperate tank for the two stroke oil,you will probably find it behind one of the side covers,do not put it directly into the fuel tank, that will cause all sorts of drama,as the oil(being heavier than the fuel)will sink straight to the bottom of the tank, fill the carb with oil, then you will never get it started, hope this helps...cheers

### I want to know is it true that 4stroke motor uses only benzin or it can use benzin+oil? I have buy scooter ZN50QT-19 and i dont know which kind of fuel he uses :)He is 4 stroke

All four stroke motors use straight gasoline or benzin. Only 2-stroke engines use a gas (benzin) + oil mix. Even some later model 2-stroke engines run straight gasoline and have a pump that mixes the oil with the gasoline. Most 2-strokes built after the mid-70's have the pump. You can easily by examination of the throttle cable. If it's equipped with a pump, the throttle cable will split from one cable on down to two cables where it enters the engine. Read your owner's manual.

### Does my 1983 suzuki 230 shaft four wheeler take transmission oil

yes it does take fluids, 10 weight 30 in rear end about half a liter and like 2 liters in the bottom end of the engne. to put the oil in the rear the screws on the top and take out bottom if u dont lubricate this, you will mess up your whole drive shaft and it will just slip

### I need oil for yamaha tri-moto 175

If the motor is a two stroke, (and i am sure that it is), you need to stop riding until you fill the tank with TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL . Riding without oil will quickly cause the engine to seize up. If not using an automatic oil pump, then mix the gas and oil 32 to 1. That equals 4 ounces of TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL to one gallon of gas. NEVER use motor oil in the gas. Only two stroke engine oil.

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks! < < And it doesn't cost anything extra!

### Want to no if it takes petrol on its own when fueling or 2 stroke oil added to it aswell

i guess your asking if its a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke right ?
2 stroke engines dont have an oil filler cap , just a fuel filling point, the fuel used in a 2 stroke is just normal unleaded (aus) but you mix 2 stroke oil in the fuel before filling (about 50/1) or whatever it recomends.
4 stroke uses the same fuel but you dont mix the oil with the fuel , it has its own filler point for oil , however you must use a 4 stroke oil with these .
hope this is what you were after.
