Question about Honda VT 1100 C Shadow Motorcycles
This sounds like a break in the supply to the ignition switch, trace back from the ignition switch to the electrical block connector, open this up and check for corrosion, also observ the outer of the connector where the wires go into the plug gently pull on each wire to asses its worthieness,( most likely )it may be the contact plate inside the switch has become worn along with the switch floating contacts, carefull dissasebly of the switch will show any faults as mentioned, if this is the case, using a peice of course emery paper on a flat surface hold the contact plate face down on to the emery paper and sand away untill the contacts are all proud with the plate, the wires to the switch may have become lose on their soldered joints. Good luck, paul
