How do the headlights come out of a 1978 P6 Ford LTD?

Wow, that car is rather old - from before the time when replaceable headlight bulb capsules were allowed. Removing the headlamp should be easy unless the screws are too rusted to remove.
Steps:
1. Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the bulb (in some cases this might be easier as the last step after the headlamp is removed)
2. Remove the trim around the headlamps being careful not to turn the screws in the headlight adjustment holes.
3. Remove the ring that holds the headlamp in place usually held in place by two or three screws. Again, check to make sure you are not turning the headlight aim adjustment screws.
4. The headlamp should come out. Since this car was made when sealed beam headlights were required, the entire assembly gets replaced.
I believe the replacement low-beam headlamp for your car is H4656. Amazon com Sylvania H4656 Rectangular Halogen Headlight Bulb Low Beam...

Headlight bulb replacement for 2007 saturn outlook?

To replace a headlamp on a Saturn Outlook you need to access it via the wheel well. So jack up the car and remove the front tire. You'll see a collection of phillips head trim screws and plastic snap in panel connectors holding the plastic wheel well in place. Remove the screws and snap in connectors. To remove the connectors, pry the center button up with a small screwdriver. One it's up the whole connector should pop free.
Remove the wheel well.
Turn the black plastic cap on the back of the headlamp assembly 1/4 turn counterclockwise and it should come free. Now the lamp wiring and connector should be visible. Turn the lamp ~90 degrees and it should pop free. Test the bulb. More people have problems with the wiring connection and the bulb is usually OK.

Scooter HID headlamp leading to power loss

Cutting the wire will do. My Mio also have a HID any that's what we did (cutting one wire). But you can also try alternative like installing a fast charger. So you can charge up your battery fast as you use your HID.

No problems encountered with my HID using the cutting methode.

Headlight on my jmstar scooter will not come on

Operate the dimmer switch--does one beam come on? Check inside the headlight shell and examine the wiring from the lamp socket into the handlebar and main harness wiring. If individual connectors, check that the colors match at each connector. If you can't find any problem, then the wiring is mis-connected. Make sure the lamp socket is connected to ground.
