Hello
Pull your carb, have it disassembled, soaked, washed and blown out to make sure the jets are clear. the jets have little tiny holes that get clogged from old gasoline.
and with 10% ethanol, its worse, because it turns to sticky tar looking stuff and clogs up bad.

clean your carbs, and your good to go.

Note: if you plan on storing it again, put fuel stabilizer in it.
change the oil too, even good oil goes bad from sitting due to condensation in the motor from the wheather.

You'll be riding by noon.
have a good weekend

Greg, From sitting so long the fuel has gone bad and gummed up your fuel jets on the carburetor. They need to be cleaned and adjusted. I work on my own bikes and I let a professional do the carb work. It is just easier.

Greg, Siphon out the tank and unhook the fuel line to the carb and open the fuel shut off valve and drain all the fuel out. Get the carb cleaned. i would guess 125-150.00 you could get a service manual and try it yourself if you are willing. Then put half a bottle of fuel system cleaner in the tank and fill with fresh fuel. I use Techron.

2009 Baja DR70CC dirt bike won't start. Cleaned carb, new fuel, good spark, kill switch working, just won't fire. Not sure where to go from here.

Hi, Tim and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.

4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.

12. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
