my 2001 roadstar 1600 is doing the exact thing. my speedo & gas gauge are all over the place when they work. no signals or brake light at all. when press the brake front or rear the gauges die. used a mult imeter, all fuses are good. fuse block is good.

Hi, Deberrybest whether one, some or all of your gauges go dark immediately or after a few minutes of riding the usual suspects are:
1. Blown instrument fuse.
2. A bad ground in the gauge circuit.
3. Faulty wiring before or after the fuse.
4. Faulty wiring or connector between the fuse and sensor.
5. Faulty wiring or connector between the sensor and gauge.
6. Gauge sensor has failed.
7. The gauge has failed.
