Question about 2011 Bajaj Pulsar 180

My name is Anthony from Kenya my pulsar 180 is 3months old. all was smooth initialy except for the gears getting sticky from time to time. then after about 1700kms I went out as usual in the morning but in the afternoon after lunch, I notticed a pool of oil at the bottom of the engine, at close examination I found that it was coming from the shaft connection to the chain. what could be the cause. the bike is practically new and was serviced promptly at 500km and oil replaced. please assist.

You are rightly going, go ahead and take precaution to keep constant speed. After 2000Km you can run for getting optimum milieage from it.
I had used to run Pulsar and Unicorn and served 3 years in Honda Service Department. 
Avoid much using break and over gear transmission will also help you in maintainging a good mileage.

service your carb, change the plug and airfilter and check you timing and compression.These are simple things that will improve your performance ...but changing your clutch plates?Is your clutch slipping?

ckeck your drain plug , if not check in between case crack or damage cracks. if to serious could be a problem . If you do not
fix it at leat make sure you check oil level everytime before
riding . also carry a quart with the bike, this could get you out of a
hard time. but you should take it to the shop, and let them fix

Toyota manual windows..very sticky..


The 'sticky' windows can be caused by:

1) Dead windows seals rubber that are no longer flexible and can break down to the point of being sticky rubber: replace the seals or as a temporary solution rub a bar of wet soap on the seals where the windows slide against.

2) Lack of lubrication in the windows winder mechanism: you will need to remove the doors handles & internal covering panel to get to the gears located in the doors cavity where the windows slide in.

My Seiko Pulsar Dress PJ6010 was running fine until it seemed like the battery was going out. I had it replaced and a few days later it stopped again. Could it be the battery gain? I have had other PJ6010...


D you mean battery drain, not gain? Possible other causes are: Maybe you got an old battery put in, this does happen sometimes. Or, maybe the lubricants have dried out causing the gears to get sticky/gummy and causing excessive battery drain. I use an instrument than spin the movement and loosen up sticky gears after using a spray cleaner.

Have the tranny flushed and new fluid put in, and a new filter.

Things are getting gunked up and sticky in there, the car is 18 years old now.

Vibration and knocking sound from engine


Many p180's facing tiz problem (old ug 1 or 2) . Change ur clutch plate and change spark plug. Clean carburater. Gearbox problems already in pulsars.. Need this maintenance at all 15000 km for pulsars
