Lights keep blinking

Hi, Anonymous if your headlight is not working the first thing to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply to headlight bulb socket.
2. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
3. Faulty ignition switch.
4. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
5. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
For more information about your issue, please visit the websites below. Good luck and have nice a day.

How to install HID to honda xrm 125

Did you buy a HID bulb or did you buy the kit with the ballast etc? Usually an HID lamp will come with a ballast and wiring loom which is per fitted with relays etc. you would normally plug this loom into the headlight socket of your bike's wiring and then tidy the ballast etc behind the fairing and replacing your bulb with the HID lamp. If you don't have the loom and ballast they're pretty easy to come by on the auction sites.

I have a 1999 bmw r 1100 rt motorcycle and Im trying to change front light to HID kit but I cant find the 3 prong plug in the dash board. How do i get to the plug?

remember that when you put hid. you have to buy the whole package thats why they made it like that. so only the hid bulb wont work with out the right amp. when you have both hid bulb and the amp. you will connect the amp to your battery n one of the cables to your head light positive wire. this will allow you to still use your switch from your handle to now turn on n off the hid. also you will have to buy a hid bulb made for your bike, do not buy any hid on the street even if they say that is universal n all that **** bcuz its not. buy the one for your bike model so it fits perfect and it locks by it self, like if it was a factory bulb. So you connect the bulb to your hid amp plug and one cable from the amp to the positive wire that comes from the bike to the factory bulb and the other one to your battery.

common problem with hid's... is the installation your having a power drop... nowadays modern bikes are battery operated due to and dc cdi... if the system detects an amphere drop it will shut down... things you have to checks... battery terminal should be securely tight... check for loose ground lines, negative lines... hid should have its own harness usually comes up with the hid kit... hid positive and negative line should be connected directly to the battery. no alteration, or jumpers should be done... it adds resistance to the wire causing to power drop... secure the hid relay loose relay terminal will result to amphere shortage... MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT YOUR HID POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE LINE TO THE BATTERY TERMINAL... AND NO LINE SHARING... good day!

Hid light not turning on

the part about the lights that won't turn on may be because there is a blown fuse or a broken relay which needs to be changed, the part about the hid lights there may be a short circuit somewhere.
