All you need is some Deutsch connectors ,you can get from Dennis Kirk.
Gently pull the 6-way socket housing out of each speaker box hole.-------- Obtain the rear speaker harness from the kit. Inspect the pin housings on the two long branches at one end of the harness.-- In one of the pin housings (labelled "RIGHT"): a. Cavity 4 has an orange/ black wire, b. Cavity 5 has a green wire, c. Cavity 6 has a light-green/ brown wire. Plug this housing into the socket connector coming from the right rear speaker pod. In the remaining pin housing (not labelled): a. Cavity 4 has a brown/ white wire, b. Cavity 5 has a brown wire, c. Cavity 6 has a white/ brown wire. Plug this housing into the socket connector coming from the left rear speaker pod. Carefully tuck the connector back into each speaker box and re-install the grommet around the hole.--- In one of the socket housings (labelled "RIGHT") and one of the pin housings (not labelled): a. Cavity 4 has an orange/ black wire, b. Cavity 5 has a green wire, c. Cavity 6 has a light-green/ brown wire. In the remaining pin and socket housings (not labelled): a. Cavity 4 has a brown/ white wire,-- b. Cavity 5 has a brown wire,-- c. Cavity 6 has a white/ brown wire.-- Plug each overlay harness pin housing into the rear speaker socket housing having the same wire colors.-- NOTE:--To prevent possible damage to the sound system, verify that the Ignition/ Light Key Switch is in the OFF position before reinstalling the maxi-fuse. There is a manual to do this. Please click the link below:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-wire-rear-tour-pak-speakers-on.html ----------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Harley wiring diagrams

I have not worked this particular model. However, Harley wiring harness connections are modular, that is, they're set up in sections that plug into each other. For the Tour Pack there are two connections, one from the Tour Pack, and the other into a harness somewhere around rear drive. Wiring is like plumbing - follow the pipes. The service manual ($80) is a worthwhile investment for a $30,000 bike.

How to take off the tour pac

Hi Anonymous, I would take a ride over to my local dealer and ask someone in parts or service to check and see if you have a quick release tour pak and show you how it works. Other wise it's hard mounted and the bolts are underneath the tour pak inside liner. If you have radio antena they will have to be relocated, plus there is the wiring to deal with, for some tips go to: http://www.hdforums.com/forum/touring-models/502970-taking-off-the-tour-pak.html. Good luck

You can get the signal wired behind the radio or if it is more convenient you can tap into the rear speaker wires in the colums in the rear of the vehicle which will make your rca's from it be shorter to the amps in the rear.

I installed a kenwood dnx 7180 in a 2009 jeep wrangler x, with a pac c2r-chy4. everything seems to work great except i do not hear any voice promt from the navigation, just hear the music mute. checked the...

It's your c2r-chy4. You need to hook the front speaker output from the nav to the rear input of the c2r. I had the same problem. The c2r only receives input through the rear speaker wires (purple green) Don't ask me why they did it this way but it's a common problem with this adapter. The nav sends it's voice promps through the front speakers only that's why you cant hear them. Connect the white speaker wires from the deck to the green of the c2r and the gray to the purple. Cap off all remaing wires. You loose the fader but oh well. Enjoy!

Front speaker output comes from the amp, which you removed with the tour pack. You will need to wire the speakers directly to the radio speaker out wires to function without the amp

Can't page to central speaker system. gives a busy signal.Merlin Plus system with Page Pac 20 paging system. All other features work. I think it is the Page Pac but don't know how to troubleshoot.

If you are getting busy signal, something is shorted out.

Disconnect the wiring from the phone systems page port, and try to page. did the busy go away?

if not the port is bad in the phone system. If it did, the page pac is bad...
