Is the kickstand still down when you are doing this. Some bikes have a kickstand sensor and wont let it run when down.

My 1993 GL1500I will not run when Placed into First gear. Idles fine at Start up. Soon as I engage transmission and release the Clutch the Engine Dies

Maybe having trouble with the bank angle sensor; it shuts that bike of when the bike gets dumped over but sometimes will go bad and shut the bike off prematurely. Post a question a www.stevesaunders.com and someone will help you with any Goldwing problems that you may have.

On my 72 cb100 when I pull the clutch in, the bike dies while idling. It runs fine while getting gas, but does not run at idle. It will start right back up when it does die. Any ideas?

The slow circuit of the carburetor is dirty. Take the carburetor off and remove the slow and main jets. Shoot carburetor cleaner through the jets and through the passageways of the carburetor body to be sure that it is clear. Does the bike die when you pull in the clutch and put it into gear? If it dies when you put it in to gear , you may have clutch plates that are stuck together. Take off the engine side cover, remove the clutch springs, pull out the clutch boss and the clutch plates. Carefully separate the plates, replace any damaged plates, coat the plates with oil and put them back in the same order. This should make the clutch act normally again.

I have a 2001 kawasaki 125 eliminator shuts off

If it dies when put into gear then its the side-stand switch (stand is down or switch not working)
If it dies when the clutch lever is released then either it was released too quickly with not enough revs, the engine doesnt have enough power to pull away or possibly the clutch switch is working in reverse

Good Luck
Hope this helps.

Kdx 200 clutch not engaging properly

The clutch in your bike is a wet clutch. There is a lot of hyrdostatic friction even when the clutch is released completely. I think a large factor is the type, age and condition of oil. Perhaps something as simple as an oil change would help.
