Question about 2003 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic

I am getting very different prices on getting my brakes front & rear done on my 2000 yamaha vstar 1100 classic. as far as i know i just need new pads. i've looked up the ebc pads. just not sure of how long (amt of labor) needed? thanks

    it took me less than 20 on front and 30 on rear, i do have bags.

    thanks bonedivers. i appreciate the response and info. i don't think you said what kind of bike you have.......my vstar has dual front disc brakes. does that double the front brake time you quoted or is a double disc set up part of your time estimate?

    yep it would double the time. if you can change your oil you could change your brake pads, it's not hard at all

Change vstar 1100 motor cycle tire


Howdy: Front, jack stand, pull calibers with brake hose connected and set aside. Unbolt axle clamps each side. You home free. For the rear,
juck stand, loosen rear axle nut. Pull calibers, set aside. Need to wiggle
tire backward so the driveshaft pulls out. thats about it. Puttin the front and rear back on you will need help for alignment. Goog luck - Doug
