Why is my 2013 dodge avenger 3.6L V6 still giving a cyclinder2 misfire after I have changed my coils, park plugs, and the wires

If you're still experiencing a cylinder 2 misfire in your 2013 Dodge Avenger 3.6L V6 after replacing the coils, spark plugs, and wires, there are a few potential causes to consider: 1. Fuel Injector Issue: A malfunctioning or clogged fuel injector can cause a misfire in a specific cylinder. Check the fuel injector for cylinder 2 and ensure it is functioning properly. It may require cleaning or replacement. 2. Compression Problem: Low compression in cylinder 2 can lead to a misfire. Perform a compression test to check the compression levels in all cylinders. If cylinder 2 shows significantly lower compression, it may indicate issues with the valves, piston rings, or cylinder head gasket. 3. Ignition Timing: Incorrect ignition timing can cause misfires. Ensure the ignition timing is set correctly according to the manufacturer's specifications. 4. Vacuum Leak: A vacuum leak near cylinder 2 can disrupt the air-fuel mixture and lead to a misfire. Inspect the vacuum lines and intake manifold for any leaks or loose connections. 5.Engine Control Module (ECM) Issue: A faulty ECM can incorrectly trigger a misfire code. Consider having the ECM scanned for any error codes or anomalies related to cylinder 2.

P0305 Jaguar Description

When a misfire occurs, engine speed will fluctuate. If the engine speed fluctuates enough to cause the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor signal to vary, the Engine Control Module (ECM) can determine that a misfire is occurring.

How do i fix misfires on a 2001 mazda mpv

misfires can be from electrics( HT leads -plugs -coil/s ) and also be from injectors ( low fuel pressure --dirty injectors -pulse problems --electronic). Run the codes to find if it is a random problem or a specific cylinder misfiring to point you in the right direction.

2002 Buick Century Limited 3.1L rough idle and P305 code shows up

You have an interference motor. If you had to replace the heads due to the valves possibly touching the motor, you have to consider rechecking the compression after you replaced the heads. I had the same motor that had an intake leak. I found frozen rings on the number 1 piston as well as a bent pushrod. Ultimately, the camshaft had broken due to coolant getting to the bearings. If the spark is good, the fuel is good, then the only other problem you'd have would be compression.

2001 mercury grand marquis reading code p305 misfire, spark plugs and coils changed

If you changed the #5 Coil then the code was wrong

You get lots of wrong codes on a ford, as a bad coil
spikes the pcm when grounding out to fire the coils
secondary side

Try putting the old coil back & walking the new one to
another cylinder, may take many days & many miles of
driving to get it fix,but better than a shop guessing, because
they hate fords

I have a mazda mpv 2000 minivan.problem code p0301 misfire detected cylinder#1

I'd check #1 spark plug.
Usually a misfire code "fix" is a spark plug, spark plug wire, or a coil pack / distributor.
Keeping it simple...I'd go with the spark plug first and then look at the condition of the wires.

Hope this helps...

Mazda mvp 03 spark plugs #5 and #6 are not firing. I pull the conector at idle and nothing. Ive cleaned and checked the injectors. New spark plugs. Ive checked fire, fuel and compression. All seems...

no the bad oxygen sensor never affects misfire it affects only the air/fuel mixture
those are causing misfire (a bad coil, ignition module, distributor pickup, crank sensor,).
and i doubt the
crank sensor cuz computer says sensor even if it said to be o2 but no its the crank one its ok if computer fault
i hope my answer was useful

Multiple cyl misfire

please check on compression of all the cylinders. IF there is any valve damage this could cause a fault. Please check this out if your fuel and spark are ok.
