Honda air cooled in line four 750's have always had the problem of developing head gasket leaks on the outside corner . The only fix for the leak is to take the head off and replace the head gasket.

Bought a 2005 honda vtx 1300 noticed oil leaking from the head at the bottom of the fake fins it only has 2675 mile on it.

You need a gasket. Don't we be the bearer of bad news, but I think you have to drop the engine, one that bike to get to that gasket about 750 dollars you could try to stop leak. Just make sure it's good quality

2006 subaru forester burning oil

never-- I repeat never --use a used car dealer to do repairs on your car
The people employed are seldom qualified mechanics and they only know how to "bodgie" jobs just to get the car ready for a sale
oil will not leak from a head if the engine is running well , but oil will leak from faulty rocker cover gaskets
from your description, I suspect that when the car went in for the head gaskets a clapped out motor was fitted instead ( check engine numbers on the papers )
If you need a motor , there are plenty of good engines from japanese
engine importers
But at best do not have anything to do with that shop as the engine rebuild could be changing the engine back for your original motor

I have a 2005 Honda Civic coupe, i only have heat when accelerating and the car is running hot, I have replaced the thermostat, the car is still running hot, I had a test done on head gasket and the air...

there are only three places for coolant to leak.external leak to the outside of the motor, internal leak like a head gasket causing the motor to burn coolant(white smoke out the tailpipe),internal leak(coolant leak into the motor oil.)you say that the head gasket was tested and it was okay then this takes care of burning coolant, however it could be leaking into the motor oil.check the oil level and condition.I would think the tech would have checked this, but check it just in case.if the oil level is good and not thick or white or milky looking then this is not the problem.you could have a leak externally like a hose leaking a frost plug leaking, water pump leaking, this should be checked out by having the cooling system pressure tested a carefully inspected for leaks

Oil is leaking into the gasket, causing one of the spark plugs to misfire. I have replaced the spark plugs, but fuel lines over the gasket prevent me from replacing it. How do I go about fixing this? ...

This is caused by a defective cylinder head cam cover gasket, this allows oil to leak into and fill the well the spark plug is in and short out the cylinder, replace the cam cover gasket.

You obviously have taken care of your car with that many miles on it. Oil getting into the coolant is not good. There is a gasket that is causing the oil to seep into the cooling system. On the Hondas it is usually a head gasket. Hope this helps.

Oil in coolant on a 1981 honda goldwig

do you have oil in your coolant ? if so id say head gasket , be extremly unuasual for the head to crack on a goldwing, id put it down to head gasket , but while its appart id have it skimmed and when its being skimmed if there half decent company doing it the will tell you if its cracked when the pressure test it , head skim will cost about £45 from most companys as its only a small head on your bike ( compared to car heads which cost a bit more )
hope this is of help to you
kind regards
