How do I factory reset a Lexmark x658de?

When you first enter the printer menus from the operator panel, you may notice an asterisk (*)

next to a value in the menus. This asterisk indicates the factory default setting. These settings

are the original printer settings. (Factory defaults may vary for different countries.)

When you select a new setting from the operator panel, the Saved message appears. When

the Saved message disappears, an asterisk appears next to the setting to identify it as the

current user default setting. These settings are active until new ones are stored or the factory

defaults are restored.

To restore the original printer factory default settings:

1 Make sure the printer is on and the Ready message appears.

2 Press Menu until you see Utilities Menu, and then press Select.

3 Press Menu until you see Factory Defaults, and then press Select.

4 Restore appears on the second line of the display.

5 Press Select.

The message Restoring Factory Defaults appears followed by the Ready

message.

When you select Restore:

• No other button actions are available on the operator panel while Restoring
Factory Defaults appears.....

Factory settings

With IDES4, I can load factory defaults to my WK8000.
WK500 uses DATA MANAGER 5.0. If I am not mistaken, you can only save/restore/delete "user data" from and to the instrument.
FACTORY Settings are always unchanged in the instrument and it reset itself every time you power cycle.

Forgot my password and can't log on with another pc

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings. if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings Hope this helps don't forget to vote

Do not know know password for wireless internet

Hi
Go here and download the manual http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/Netgear-WNR2000-manual.pdf
You will need to reset the router or change the password in the router 1. To change the password, goto Internet Explorer 2. In the address bar type 192.168.1.1 3. Press enter key 4. YOu should see a box with username and password fields. 5. username is admin 6.password is password 7. These are not the wireless passwords but the access password to get in the router. 8. Once in the router interface on Internet Explorer; goto the wireless sections and change the password there.
To reset the router WARNING: This will reset all the settings to what it was like when it came fresh out of the box. You may need to know some other settings. Restoring the Default Password and Configuration Settings You can restore the factory default configuration settings that reset the router's user name to admin, the password to password, and the IP address to 192.168.1.1. To restore the factory default configuration settings: 1. Use a sharp object such as a pen or a paper clip to press and hold the restore factory settings button, located on the rear panel of the router, for about 5 seconds, until the Power light begins to blink (see "Back Panel" on page 5). 2. Release the restore factory settings button, and wait for the router to restart, and for the Power light to stop blinking and become solid green. The factory default settings will be restored so that you can access the router from your Web browser using the factory defaults.
Failing this, please refer to the manual, page 29 onwards
All the best now

How do you reset a password?

Easy, reset the router itself, should have a tiny pin hole in the back that has a button that you must compress, just google reseting your model.

How do I reset a Xerox Phaser 4500 Centreware password to factory default.. or what is the factory default password? I have on which has been changed and nobody seems to know the PW anylonger

this should restore it to default.

By default there is no username or password required to access CentreWare Internet Services. If a username and password have been configured for CentreWare Internet Services and you do not remember the username and / or password, reset the printer to factory defaults (NVRAM reset).
To reset the NVRAM, go to the front panel's Main Menu:
  1. Select Troubleshooting, then press the OK button.
  2. Select Service Tools, then press the OK button.
  3. Select Reset NVRAM, press the OK button.
  4. Select Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW, then press the OK button to reset all the settings to their factory default values.

Reset

Hi,

First, turn it on. Once the calculator is on, press the "2ND" key (I believe it is a blue key in the ti-84 plus silver edition). Now press the plus key (+). A little above that key, you should see the word "mem." When you see the screen titled MEMORY, move the cursor all the way down to the option that says "Reset." From here, you can choose to reset either the RAM memory, or the factory settings. The factory settings are the "Defaults" option. I hope this helps.

Thanks.
