I just bought a 1982 yamaha seca xj650 and the guy who owned it said he had it parked for a long time. I just drained the oil and found that there was gasoline in the oil. does anyone know why there would be gas in the oil and what i can do to fix it?
Thanks!!!

the oil filter should be inside the round finned cover at the front of the motor/trans. if you have found the drain plug also at the front but underneath, the filter is above it.... oil capacity should be molded into the crankcase next to the oil filler cap
