2003 Suzuki 800 Marauder - Starts intermitently. I have checked gas in carbs, battery is fine, bike starts periodically and runs fine. Everything works fine when running. Stop the bike then it won't start again. I have been told it could be the relay assebbly for the starting motor that is on the left side under the front seat area. When it is running and I wiggle this relay the bike stops. I have checked wiring for bare spots and nothing showing. I don't want to replace the relay if this is not really the problem. Can you tell me what the relay actually does and is there a test procedure for the relay? Please and thanks!

SOURCE: I've lost my one and only key for my 2000 suzuki

Check withe the dealer to be sure, but I think there is a number code on the bottom of the ignition switch. I think they can make a new key if given the code. You will have to remove the switch to see the code. It would be a good idea to take the switch in to check the new keys at the shop.

SOURCE: 97 suzuki marauder fork seals problem

Normally no. If the fork seals are leaking when you ratchet the front down on the trailer your seals were bad prior to that. If you are talking about the straps being wrapped around the forks the only thing that they would contact would be the dust covers. The fork seals are actually down inside the fork about 1/4 inch. Have a good day

What causes 2002 suzuki marauder to rev high after warmed up?

Hi, Could well be carburetor misadjusted. Too much air to fuel mix
Also if the bike sat for a long period, it may have gummed up jets in carb. Clean out and you'll be good to go. Hope that helps.

Suzuki 800, 1997 carb floats stuck

the floats are easy to fix...getting to them is the problem. the old gass has gone bad and will not ease up if new gass added.
remove carbs undo the 4 retaining bolts on the bottom of the carbs spray with carb cleaner free them up by hand (try not to adjust anything) and replace on bike !

I have a 2003 suzuki marauder vz800. the bike will only crank and idle with the choke on fully. when i push the choke all the way in, the bike dies. what is the possible solution for this problem???

check your fuel strainers in your tank. you can also switch the fuel selector switch to reserve. if none of this works, then its probably your fuel pump

Bike starts well, 2006 but only has 1000 miles on it. sat in storage during move (7 months). drained gas and disconnected battery. idles fine but when you give the the gas to go or give it gas period it...

If the bike ran fine prior to putting it in storage and all you did was drain the fuel and disconnect the battery, its likely moisture ( condensation) developed in the carbs while it sat. this type of thing happens when fuel is drained. Your best bet is to remove the carbs and clean the jets. Its my opinion and experience to put fresh fuel in a bike along with (stable) fuel treatment prior to storing them. With the stable added to the fuel, the fuel will hold good for about 1 year.. Replacing the battery and starting them and letting them warm up to operating temp monthly while in storage is always a good idea..
I hope this helps..

Have a 2004 suzuki marauder. engine starts but

Your idle circuit jet is clogged, you will need to run seafoam fuel additive in your gas tank and see if this clears it up or clean the carbs.

2003 vz 800 only runs when choke is all the way out and wants t stall when i push it in. Should I clean the carbs with carb cleaner and how do I do that. Thanks new bike owner

rem/carove carb from engine. Choke is on when pushed in? You could run injector / carb cleaner through fuel also. You don't always need to choke
