Hi, Bought a 2003 Monster 620ie with only 500km on the clock in 2010. Fuel light was unreliable as came on and off at will rather than when reaching reserve levels. Recently had the sensor chaged at a Ducati dealer and now the bike conks out under heavier braking when fuel is approaching reserve but before fuel light comes on. Same Ducati dealer could not trouble shoot or solve this problem so they changed the non-genuine fule pump and adjusted idle settings in attempt to correct issue. Have today ridden bike for first time since and the bike has again conked out after a 20km ride to work at the same time as teh oil light came on. Wouldn't restart immediately and oil levels within range. What could be causing all these issues?

SOURCE: ducati monster 620 went dead

Sounds like a detached connector or a blow fuse. First open your user manual, locate the fuse holder and dbl check the fuse... You have two circuits, the On circuits, and the accessoiry (wich are not essential) seems that you lose the accessory...

SOURCE: I am looking for the front and rear gross axel ratings

Go to http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp , and download a freebie manual. Check your registration, it should have the bikes vin number. If not, then search the frame, it will be stamped into ot somewhere. From this number you can get your exact model, and as there are plenty of manuals, pick the correct one.

SOURCE: Ducati 900 Monster starter issue

Have battery load tested, check all connections on starter, on battery, and on the engine where the ground cable hooks up.
