If your bike has a vacuum operated fuel petcock on the tank....ensure that it is set in the ON position and not prime PRI position. Often as these age, the diaphram leaks and raw fuel leaks into the vacuum line, into the engine and then crankcase.
You could test by removing the vacuum hose, switching briefly to prime and see if fuel starts leaking out the open vacuum port on the petcock. There are kits to rebuild the petcock...and definitely change your oil and filter to get the contamination out.

Blueish smoke out of exhust,no power, puddle of oil under car, smells like raw fuel out of exhust

Hi , it sounds like your valve stem oil seals need renewing. If you mix oil with petrol it does not all get ignited hence blue smoke from the oil and the smell of petrol out the exhaust.

There is a smell of petrol from the oil in my car wat does this mean

This means that the injectors are letting ltoo much fuel in or are leaking after you turn the car off. The petrol is running into the cylinders and past the piston into the oil. This is a very bad thing. It removes the lubrication on the cylinder walls. It dilutes the oil and reduces the lubrication properties. IT can lead to engine failure pretty fast.

I found petrol in crankcase with oil

You have a leaking injector. The extra fuel is washing the oil coating off the cylinder wall and seeping past the rings into the oil pan. You need to fix this and change the oil quickly before there is major failure to the engine.

Honda 2004 CBR 125 R with 50,000 km smell of petrol in the oil

Hi, Anonymous you're getting ready to go riding you pull out the dipstick to check your oil level and are greeted with the unmistakable smell of gasoline. What happens next depends on the following:
1. You have experienced this before and do not start the engine but do change your oil and filter leaving it 1 quart low until the engine reaches operating temperature then top off as necessary.
2. The amount of time your bike has been sitting since the last time the engine was running.
3. The amount of gas and contaminants in the tank.
4. The oil pump location, exterior or interior.
5. The condition of your petcock gasket/seal/diaphragm.
If your gas tank was low and you start the engine probably nothing you would notice but if your gas tank was full and you start your engine the oil/gas mixture can blow into your air filter, come streaming out of your crankcase breather hose, and launch your oil tank cap followed by a blast of oil. The mess can be minor or you need to call a Hazmat team for assistance. This will also happen if you overfill your oil tank.
Next is the how and why gas can get into your oil tank/system:
a. The vacuum petcock rubber/diaphragm fails, which allows gas to flow from the fuel tank through the petcock, through the vacuum line into the intake manifold, then into the combustion chamber, where it seeps past the piston rings and into the bottom end.
3. Nonvacuum petcocks that are not turned to the off position will patiently wait until contaminants from the gas tank build up in between the carburetor needle and seat breaking the seal thus inviting gas to enter the combustion chamber eventually finding it's way into the bottom end and the oil tank.

My engine oil smell of petrol what could course this

A common cause is worn piston rings. This can be checked doing a compression test.
Call your Honda shop for what the cylinder compression reading should be for your bike.
Place a compression test gauge in each cylinder spark plug hole one at a time and crank over the engine (if you have a kick starter use it with the key off. If it is electric start only, pull the other spark plug wires when you crank it so the engine does not try to start. Write down the reading from each cylinder. The readings should all be close to the same. If one or two are allot lower than the highest reading, the low reading cylinder(s) probably have worn piston rings. If all readings are much lower than the spec from your Honda shop, it is possible that all cylinders need new piston rings.

I have a gas smell in my oil on my 1995 Mustang GT 5.0. It is milkly

if its a petrol smell then maun suspect is head gasket leaking between a water port and a oil return gallery with the help of a piston hence the petrol as well ,without a complete strip down its impossible to say its between one and two or three and four cylinders or whatever if it was just water in the oil then its highly feasable its a radiator where the oil cooler is in the rad .But this smells of petrol so go the whole hog and pull the heads off

Mower blowing white then black smoke & running rough

if unit is ohv engine - i gather unit is using oil ?

may have a blown head gasket and air filter may be oil / petrol soaked
restrcting air flow

check oil level is correct ( and does not smell of petrol ) wet sumped and breather is working ( not stuck closed )

check for tight valve clearance

if all these are ok then might suspect worn rings / bore ?

My engine oil light is on, and my bike wont stop reving

hmmm tricky.... knackered fuel tap sounds favourite, petrol vapour coming back round the system via breather back in to airbox making the revs go up, and probably oil is like water being mixed with petrol that's been leaking through. take of oil filler cap and smell oil, if it stinks of petrol, drain oil, if like water and full of petrol, change fuel tap, oil filter, and refill with new oil. carb float valves should stop petrol seeping through in theory but it'll always get past. just thought, if it is all that then airfilter will be full of petrol vapour as well, get a new one if paper, wash out if foam.
