I have a 26 mongoose ravage and I need to know what size the axle bolt is for the front tire

There is no "axle bolt." The threaded rod that goes through the wheel (not tire) hub is called an axle. It is secured with axle nuts. the axle needs to be the correct diameter, length, and have the correct threads. It would be unusual to just need the axle, but if that is truly the case then take it to a bike shop and they can provide the correct part. Should not be expensive. However you need both tools and knowledge to replace an axle.

How do you remove swing arm on a 99 yamaha big bear 350

Easy - take off tires, then caps over axle/castle nuts if you have them.
- take cotter pins and axle nuts off both ends of axle. Right side - remove brake drum, then remove two brake shoes, simple Springs connect them, you can pull apart intact, remove any collars, washers off the axle behind brakes, then there might be 4 bolts and a plate - the other side you can see the bearing. Now - this is important - for. The side with the brakes, take a socket bigger than the threads but size of axle lip - and you place that deep socket (side with brakes!) over the threads (threads will be inside deep socket) lip of socket touches lip of axle about 2-3 inches down - hit that w a hammer and the axle will go out to the left if facing rear of four wheeler. Next - remove brake lines and breather hose for rear end.
There are bolts that attach the rear end to the swing arm (to the right) take them out and maybe the bottom guard for rear end. Then where the rear end attaches to drive shaft tube portion of swing arm there are four bolts - when all that is done you'll be able to remove rear end. Undo top bolt or you might get away w/bottom for shock - next two pivot shaft nuts - big socket like, Allen head in middle - remove nut from pivot shaft (left and right side where swing arm pivots) then takeallAllen head and unscrew two thick bolts that the pivot shaft nuts tighten to our - there's a collar and bearing in there where the bike's swing arms pivot at. I've done it a dozen times - if you have any problems or that wasn't too clear, message me, I'll dig up some tech sheets from a service manual I got on a bike that year - close to same model - same mechanics, Yamaha was pretty universal. I got a 98 & 99 Yamaha 2wd and a 96 Yamaha 3504wd. All pretty easy to work on. I have a swing arm I might get rid of from Florida and a decent rate if yours is done for and you gotta replace. I sell and buy off eBay to keep most of my toys on the trail.Good luck

Life fitness ticking from foot pedal

1Detach the ends of the pedals from the crank axles. Spread a layer of machine grease over the crank axles, then reattach the ends of the pedals.

Remove the bolts connecting the pedals to the swing arms. Detach the pedals from the arms, then spread a layer of machine grease over the axles on the swing arms. On some models, the bolts may also serve as the axles. Reattach the pedals to the arms.

Remove the bolts connecting the swing arms to the elliptical's upright. Detach the swing arms from the upright, then spread a layer of machine grease over the axles on the upright. Reattach the arms to the upright.

Unplug the power cord. Identify the pivot points where the lower handlebars and the footpad link arms connect at each side of the machine. Use a screwdriver to remove the inside and outside elbow covers at each connection. This will expose the pivots.

Put a box wrench on the lock nut at the inside of one pivot and loosen the bolt with an Allen wrench. Remove the bolt and check the assembly for nylon spacers or a bearing. If no spacer is found, proceed to the next step. Replace the nylon spacers, reassemble the connection and reattach the elbow covers. Repeat this at the opposite side of the machine.

Have an assistant hold a deep socket against the inside face of the pivot hub. Make sure the socket is large enough to allow the bearing to pop out. Insert the point of a flat screwdriver into the outside of the hub until it contacts the bearing. Tap the handle of the screwdriver with a hammer to remove the bearing. Repeat this to remove the bearing on the opposite side.

God bless you

How do you remove and replace a cv joint on a 2000 chev impala?

this is a service that needs to be preformed properly and short, you need to loosen the axle nut, jack up car, wheel off, brake caliper off, remove bottom shock mounts so the axle can be pivoted away (leave on ball joint), steering rack end removed from axle.....take shaft out of axle end first, then out of transmission (oil will drop, so have drain pan ready)......installation, same as removal, making sure ALL bolts are tight

How to remove rear axel from ford crown victoria tne axel is loose and making noise leaking fluid i think it neds a new seal

do u mean the axle has "play" when u grab the tire and wiggle it up and down?? if it has play, then it propbably needs an AXLE SEAL AND AXLE will have to carefully inspect the axle itself where the bearing rides for any gouging or damage. THIS JOB requires a decent amount of mechanical skill. 1ST you need to remove the rear end COVER and drain out the gear oil into a drain pan.2ND remove the brake caliper and rotor . 3RD spin the" ring and pinion " around until u see a 5/16 bolt that passes thru from the pass. side to the drivers side. u have to remove this bolt. u will need to "hold "the gears from turning in order to break loose this bolt. 4TH remove this bolt and slide out the large metal ""PIN" that 'divides" the rear end in half. NOW CAREFULLY WITHOUT TURNING THE REAR END SPIDER GEARS,PUSH IN THE AXLE TOWARDS THE INSIDE SO U CAN REMOVE THE "C-CLIP" AT INNER END OF AXLE. now u can slide out axle and youll be able to replace seal and if needed axle bearing. let me know if u need more info.

Bike stand doesn't return

Yes , it may require some light lubricating at around the stand but first you will need to clean up throughly around the stand fittings better to use WD40 and thn some mineral oil as lubricant.
Not bad too to check the spring of its tension!
Hope this helps!
