The Kawasaki Bayou 250 has 2 grease fittings on the front steering point of the frame.....my quad made the same click from the passenger side (while riding over bumps or lifting the passenger wheel in stationary)

Solution: Turn the wheel all the way to the right (for right fitting) or left(for left fitting), wipe the dirt off the the zerk fitting nipple and grease it...I recommend both sides...grease until it starts coming out of the bottom of the frame by the dust cap...then wipe/clean up excess grease that overfilled so dust, dirt, and sand won't cling and make a mess.

This should solve your clicking problem in the front end. Merry Christmas - Happy Quadding =)

Check your spokes sounds like one or a couple may be loose.

hey t407083 a Kawisaki bayou 250 is a fourwheeler and unless the owner took the stock rims off and put on a rim with spokes (which is dumb) the sound will not be the spokes it may be a rock or pebble stuck in the suspension so owner please check that out and watch the gear oil in the rear def. it may have been leaking it is a common problem

Thank you very much for pointing that out ZT1997 I should have caught that myself but was going off the fact that the question was posted as being about a 2006 kawasaki KLX 250 which if I am not mistaken is a dirt bike not a quad. In the future though I need to make sure that the text of the question matches the product specified in the title.

Jack up the wheel and see if it has play up and down and left and right. Have someone watch inboard as you move it. A bad cluck will usually show itself.

I have a 2006 Kawasaki Bayou 250 it is always fowling spark

does it backfire when revving down? are your spark plugs coming out black? if yes, you need to lean out your system a little by adjusting the mixture screw on the carb.

I hit a bump on the right front side and it makes a roaring type noise and shimmies a bit .. can feel it under my left foot. also at times it will make that soud when i make a right hand turn... it is ...

Sounds like your left front wheel bearing is going bad. When you make a right turn, or compress the right front suspension over a bump, it forces the car to roll to the left. This loads the suspension on the left side, which will exaggerate a wheel bearing problem. Are you hearing the noise at all when travelling on the highway in a straight line? If so, it'd be either a grinding sound or a hollow humming noise. If you aren't, it may be that the bearing is just starting to go bad.

A quick test to see if the bearing is bad is to jack the car up at that corner, grab the wheel at the top and bottom, and shake it hard - if there is any movement or looseness, your bearing is shot. If there is none, it doesn't mean the bearing is fine, but it could be that it's just starting to go bad (which would be why you only hear it in turns and bumps, but not straight-line yet).
