Question about 2000 Yamaha V Star Classic
This motorcycle has a single preloaded adjustable shock, you may have it set to low for the weight it's carrying or after this many years it's simply worn out. There should be a tool in the kit that came with the bike to turn the locking came. Another thing is and I've done this so many times myself is when carrying a passenger or I ******** a bunch of luggage I turn up the suspension. When I take the luggage off I forget to set the suspension back down again and it rides like a brick on two wheels.
Cheers ride safe enjoy your motorcycle
