Clean the air filter then spray some starting fluid in the carb intake. The carb may be a bit gummed up from gas evaporating over the winter. If so, clean the carb with spray carb cleaner. Be sure the float starts and stops the flow of gas properly.

with a new battery and a new plug, check if the engine is getting adequate amount of fuel. if the answer is yes,and you are satisfied that a strong spark is present, then timing is the only thing left. check your timing if all the above are satisfactory.

2005 drz 125L carb hose line diagram

Might be fuel leaking from overflow. Perhaps the float valve is stuck or damaged, allowing the float bowl to overfill. Slight chance tapping on side of carb may seat the valve. If not, it will probably have to either be set, or replaced. Could possibly have some "gunk" stuck in the valve seat from the cleaning. It only takes a tiny speck of debris to hold the valve open, causing flooding. Another possible cause is that during the cleaning, the tab that adjusts the level of the float valve got bumped, changing the level.

Hard to start, new bike only 20 miles carb clean valves correct comp good great spark.all work done by factory suzuki tech. dealersphip stmppppped! new bike should run

If you have a good spark and fuel is getting to the cylinders ,check commpression .If compression is good ,Try rubbing pencil lead over plug points ,( This will give a greater spark ) or heat up plugs on gas ring till hot and replace quickly while plugs still hot ..Don't forget to wear gloves.Get a friend to help .and cut down the time of putting plugs back in engine .

What kind of oil should i use and how much for my 125L

you may want the bike warm so it drains quick.

-it uses 850 ml of Oil. Any decent 4 stroke oil , Bel Ray 10W-40 Thumper but others are good too.

-The drain bolt has a washer. a crush washer.. if the washer is smooshed... get a new one.
dont forget about the oil filter...its behind the oil filter cover that says "oil filter" you can get a new one from the dealer for about $8, but there are some aftermarket ones from high flow you can get for around $4 (ask dealer). Also if you change the filter, you have to put in 950ml of oil..

Easy way to start a cold dr350 dualsport or trick's , started a week ago now wont start get's gas from tank to carb but wont start?

I would check the spark plugs. Take a spare spark plug that is known to be good and unplug the wire from the plug that is in the head and put the spare plug in and put it against the head to make a ground and try starting it to see if you have any spark. If you are not then test at the coil with a voltage meter set on 12 volt and try again to see if you have voltage to the coil. If there is no voltage to the coil then you will need to test the stater.
