Okay...not sure the procedure you are doing...but assuming the radiator is already drained, remove the fake fin covers from each cylinder.
Some take a plastic pop bottle and slice off the lid so you have a catch container for the trapped coolant. Take an old spark plug and screw the cap end into the coolant plug, with the catch can in place, pull the plug straight out. To reinstall simply push back in.
Just a heads up...the finned covers are what hold the plugs in place....never run the bike with them removed as the plug will blow out as the coolant heats up and pressurizes.
