I have no spark on on my yzf1000 is it because i have no oil level relay connected to the wiring loom

No spark at plug


it could be a number of things. First check your engine oil level. Turn the engine switch to on and give her a pull over. No spark, disconnect the low oil level sensor - (yellow wire) and give her a pull over again.
If you get spark, and did fill your oil, you have a bad sensor. If still no spark, try another plug. Otherwise it is a bad coil or a bad high tension wire or connection from the coil to ground

Engine turns but car still wont start up


I'm not sure what your question or need is but I will surmise that you want to know what can cause a "Crank no start". There are several parts or systems that could cause this failure. With these newer electronically controlled vehicles, it is harder to diagnose without a reader or scan-tool. Items to check are: Fuel/gas level in tank, Oil level and age (is the oil change due?), oil sending unit, Fuel (filter, pump, fuse, relay, &related wiring), Distributor (Cap, Rotor, pick-up coil), Spark-plugs, Spark-plug Wires, Defective Fuel injectors, or defective PCM. How to fit a 2nd reversing light to my Vauxhall astra


using the original wiring and a new live wire. this can be used on the tow wiring loom located under the boot cover at the bottom. and a relay. wire the the new light up and place the earth wire on a good earthing point.use a wire from the reversing wire and connect to the relay switching side of the relay and use the live wire from loom for tow wire. also place a fuse on this wire 10amp will be fine. if you are using the 2nd reversing lights for a caravan etc don't use this live wire use a new wire. most wiring looms have a wire on to loom for reversing light. so check that first. it can handle 2 new lights at a maximum of 10w which is adequate for the new lights. as you have not said what year astra it is both of these should work fine. there is also a main live in the pass side rear side compartment used for electrical extras cd player etc there will be a plug with nothing connected to it. it is ignition control 25amp rating. so a 10amp fuse will be fine on this line.

I have a eu2000i honda generator and will not start, for i am not getting any spark up to plug, it was running before I changed the oil, now I can't get no spark


Hi and welcome to Fixya. I am Kelly.

The key words here are I just changed the oil. The engine has an oil level sensor that will kill the spark if it does not sense that there is enough oil in the engine.

First... re-check the oil level.

2nd... Make sure that the 2 wires on the LOW Oil Lever Sensor assy are totally connected.

After re-verifying the oil level is correct, the LOW Oil Level Sensor is installed and properly connected.... Check for spark once again.

If you still do not have spark then:
Disconnect ONE wire from the LOW Oil Level Sensor and check for spark again. You should have spark.

If you do have spark remove the LOW oil sensor and clean it with fresh oil. If you have an oiler squirt it in the holes on the side of the LOW Oil Level Sensor

(The LOW Oil Level Sensor will be on the side of the crank case of the engine. Usually on opposite side of the engine as the Oil fill hole / dip stick.)

1992 VW Polo 1.3L Coupe: warning light mystery


Bought a very reputable diy service manual for the vehicle, and that plus a bit of thought and nous gave me the cure: no intrinsic problem other than loose relay connections. Went round with the wiring diagrams as guide checking all electrical connections in tight and relays fuses etc all good. Switched on and no problem any more.

By the way, vehicle is 1992 VW Polo - not Fox (which in UK is a variant of the Polo)

Mk2 1991 gti 8v wiring loom


You have blown up the ecu as a result of not having a good earth connection from the earth lead on the gearbox.
This is a very common problem (done it myself!)
Only solution is to get the ecu repaired or replaced.
You must change the oil and filter before trying to start the car again.
