The only difference between the mph and kph is the speed "O" face. I buy bikes in the US and use them in Canada "metric" most Honda's you can just change out the Speedo. Kawasaki if you can take the speed "O" apart to get at the face then you should be able to just by the face and install it.

Another way and I've done this many times is to get red dot stickers and put at specific speed like 60 and 70 kph for in town 80 and 90 for secondary roads and 100 for HWY. What I'm doing right now with my Honda Magna is turning on my bike GPS which I mounted over the Speedometer that thing is dead nuts accurate. Lots of ways around it

How do I change a dash from metric to english

You will need to get a gauge from the same type of motorcycle that has the MPH on it. You can either switch the entire gauge which would be pretty simple on a motorcycle or just change the faceplate which would require you to take two gauges apart and reassemble the original one with a new face plate.

Make sure that the face plate speed marks line up. I would suggest getting a gauge with both MPH and KPH on it with the maximum KPH rating as your old one.

Good luck!

Convert from KPH to MPH

You need to go into the calibrate routine. If it doesn't cover it in your user manual, remove the motor cover and check for a spec sheet. The spec sheet will detail the entire calibration process, including changing kph to mph.

How do I change the speedometer from KPH to MPH

For most bikes, you can purchase a new speedometer that shows MPH. Is this bike from Canada? One place that I have found to be a good resource and reasonable prices is bikebandit.com . I like them because they have exploded views of the parts so you end up buying what you need and not extras that you can re-use. As far as how you replace the speedo, you need to be carefully disconnect the wire on the back of the gauge and see what screws are holding in the KPH unit. This varies a lot from bike to bike, but carefully study the gauge and never force it and pry it more than necessary, as this may disrupt the calibration of the unit.
Hope this helps!
