After running, with a warm engine I get a strong smell of raw fuel. Source is impossible to trace and the smell totally disappears when the bike has cooled down (approx 1hr)

I can not solve this problem yet, is your fuel leak coming from your idle screw? i have the same prob with my 2005 1000rr and today i found it fuel leaking down idle screw and behind the EGCV SERVO MOTOR, i will pull tank up and have a look and tell you what i find. If you have already found prob i would like to know, might save me some time

I have found my problem, it was the fuel hose that runs up to the fuel rail had a small crack in it, to get to it you have to lift fuel tank and the hose is placed behind the air box, hope this was some help

I smell gas when I start my car and turn on my heater Kia Sephia 2001

I strongly recommend you stop driving this car immediately, the possibility of raw fuel in the engine compartment can be extremely dangerous. It sounds like you may have a fuel leak around the engine bay somewhere and need to locate the source and have repaired.

if it smells like raw, unburned fuel, you may have an injector stuck open. i assume it clears up and drive good after a short warm up. there will be evidence of which cylinder has the bad injector by pulling out the spark plugs. the affected cylinder will be washed clean and smell like unburned fuel. the plug may also be "wet black" and of course smell like raw fuel.

Strong raw fuell smell inside the car intermitantly

Usually, what you smell inside the car is coming thru the vent from the engine compartment.
So it could be a leak around the engine or the vapor canister. Its possible the canister gets overloaded from time to time when the computer vents the gas tank to the canister. A very small leak can be a very strong smell inside the car.

RAW GASOLNE SMELL. 2008 Subaru Impreza saloon.

Sounds to me like an inspection of the fuel lines and fuel tank need to be done. It could need replacement fuel lines depending on how many miles you have on the vehicle

I have a 2006 SCION XA. I have been filling the tank on this ****** twice a week and there is no engine light coming on. I took it to the ealership and they say there is nothing wrong with it. My car is...

You should get 350 per full tank, and the smell of raw gas,you have a leak,Dont rely on the check engine light if you nose can detect it then your right,You will need to cycle the key but dont start the engine some how the fuel pump has to be turned on with the engine cold and you will be able to see the fuel leak, with the engine warm up a fuel leak will just evaporate too quicly for it to be noticed, the dealer obviously doesnt want to fiqure it out.

hmmm, a few posibilities, might well be split cab diaphragms but overhaul should have spotted that. sounds like either too much gas or not enough, either flooding/gassing up or fuel starvation. could try running it without the aire filter too see what happens. it should run weak so if bike is better then you have too much gas, if bike worse then runnig weak to start with. I have seen this before with one particular cause.... petrol tap was leaking, gas runs past pistons when bike not running, soaks past and into crankcases. as breather recycles vapour back in to air box, when bike warm it's as rich sas hell. take of oil filler cap on engine and have a good sniff. you should smell only oil, if it's a strong smell of petrol, change oil and filter, dump petrol tap or see if new seals available.
