SOURCE: does my vulcan 800 classic have a horn relay from the factory?

If the horn requires more juice you can pick up a relay at most auto or electronic stores, use the horn wires to power the relay and battery power to power the horn.

Hope this is of some help.

contrary to popular belief face the horns rearward. Wire the compressor unit with a relay if one is not internally fitted to the horn from the existing horn button.

SOURCE: 2007 vulcan 900 clicking in starter relay

make sure your connections on the starter relay are clean and tight. also, try changing the fuse anyway. sometimes even when they're not blown the carry too much resistance. if it still doesn't work, try bridgingyour starter relay using a pair of needle nose pliers. if it starts up, that means your relay is bad and needs to be replaced.

New battery only clicking or nothing! No dash lights when key is on 07 Vulcan Kawasaki 900

Hi, Mike before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

2007 Ford Explorer horn quit working?

suggest checking if 12 volts goes to horn wire at horn end when horn pressed from inside vehicle. A 12 Volt probe {google it} can be a cheap checking tool for this.
If 12v volts is switched when button is pressed {could be earth being switched if it is then place probe on constant 12 volts and negative lead on switched earth wire} then the horn itself is faulty.
If no voltage switched then horn relay needs to be checked. check if voltage at horn relay coil contact when button pressed.
if yes then relay may be faulty. if no then horn switch could be faulty.
you can check switched voltage also at horn relay switched contact when relay plugged in. To see if relay is doing what it is meant to do

How to replace the kickstand sensor switch on a 2007 kawasaki vulcan 900 cl

The kickstand sensor on these bikes is just a simple open/short module with a spring loaded switch to activate it. Replacing it is simply a matter of disconnecting the wiring, unbolting the old sensor, replacing the module, bolting it in, and connecting the wire.
