There are two screws at the side of the battery top that have to come off first. Then remove the two screws on either side that are holding the front of the battery box on. With the front pulled away, remove the cables on the battery and then lean the battery down and pull up to get the battery out.

How to change batteries on the 5416 braun shaver

You can do it yourself if equipped. First, remove the foil and cutter. Then remove the swivel frame by removing the two tine screws, Next, remove the two scew covers on the bottom. These are found on either side of the plug recepticle and look like part of the trim. You can pry them off with a small flat jewelers screwdriver or similar. Remove the screws underneath. You can then gently pry the front of the case off from th bottom. Once case is removed, you can lift out the circuit board to access the battery. For easier replacement, it is suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs

You will find compatible battery type at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Dryer is running but not heating. Looking for reset button. Can't find it.

if the dryer is running but not heating, then it has to do with the heating element or the thermofuse. You will need to take the dryer apart:
1) unplug dryer
2) open door remove screws
3) with a flat tip screw driver pry gently up on the top corners it will pop
4) move front panel forward and disconnect door switch
5) sit panel aside
6) lift top lid of dryer 90 degrees it has clip/hinged on back
7) look to the right back of dryer, it looks like a spring in a metal box disconnect and replace.
Hope this helps Tim

After removing the seat and battery cables, is the battery now free to be lifted up and out of the battery box? Or is there something else to be removed?

I'll make a wager that it's hard to get out. I just changed the battery on my 2003 Shadow and it was a bear to get out! As a battery ages, it swells up a bit. The box is tight to start with, and once the battery swells, it lodges in place. I used two long NON-CONDUCTIVE nylon ties to loop through the removed battery holes and lifted mine out, with a little grunting and groaning.. Good luck!

Cannot get battery out of car

W/ flathead screwdriver loosen air intake hose clamp (this holds the the air intake tube to the filter box lid), pop open 2 spring clamps on Left and front of air filter box lid. Look for 4 plastic tabs on back of lid, u must push lid approx 1inch away from u to disconnect this tab type hinge, then lift it off. Disconnect air hose from top, remove top (lid, cover or whatever u want to call it!) remove air filter, the remaining housing (bottom of filter box) snaps in place, so u must give it a good tug straight up to remove. Ahhhh, I remember the good old days, when u just took out the battery. Don't feel bad though, recently had a Buick battery problem, it's located under the rear seat. And I wondered why this guy couldn't find the battery? good luck countrycurt0
