What else could be my RPM problem on my 2003 Deville, besides the idle valve and the idle position sensor that I've changed already, but still very high?

Since you are a DIYer, I recommend a ECU error code read at your favorite auto parts store (ask nicely) and a repair manual from them.

Low oil pressure only at idle

Hi Anonymous, remove oil pressure sending unit a install a mechanical oil pressure gauage. At normal engine operating temperature 230 degrees run engine at 2000 RPM oil pressure should be 30-38 psi. at and idle 3-8 psi. If you get these readings every thing is ok and you need to replace the sending unit. Good luck

2003 ford ranger intermittent idle

One possibility is a buildup of dirt and sludge in and around the idle air control valve. The buildup causes the idle air valve to stick.

2003 Ultra Classic. Above 2000RPM, the volt meter gauge pegs past 16, the odometer blinks, the speedo jumps back and forth, the red engine light comes on and the radio cuts in and out. At idle or below...

Dont do that, your voltage regulator is faulty. It is in the alternator. Max charging voltage should be 14.2 and min 13.6v. Chk battery water level. but get an alternator 4 sure

2003 Tiburon GT, RPM's drop way down and idles rough at stop's?

More maintenance history needed. Oil changed regularly, timing belt replaced at 60 K miles, Engine air filter & intake air hose inspection?
Causes of the problem you describe are many. Recommend you have a technician check your throttle position sensor for any bad spots in the potentiometer... most likely cause when there is NO Check Engine light.
