Recharge battery or it it's ban and can't be fully recharged buy new baterry. Code 46 is for iregular power to ecu.
Probably it's bad battery.

Than you probably have malfunction in charging system. Check voltage when bike is runing.
If it's charging ok than check:
red/red wire= between battery and main switch
    brown/blue=between main switch and fuse
    red /white=between fuse(ignition) and ECU!

2007 Road King Classic stalls unexpectedly when sputtering, just shuts down...starts back up whether stationary or driving...but no warning about cut off

Will the bike start up without turning off? If you have to turn ignition off then on again before it will start it may be the bank angle sensor gone faulty. This will set NO error codes in memory as it is NOT a recognised fault. ECU simply thinks bike has fallen over and shuts engine down.

How do you reset the throttle body limiter screw ( the one preset by factory). The previous owner has altered it and I need to reset it. 2000 R850R

Do you have a vacuum comparison guage? You need some kind of guage setup to work on the TB sync.

Here is what I would do:
-perform a valve clearance check/adjustment to ensure everything is in spec. (this does make a difference!)
-Ride bike for 10-15 minutes, make sure it is fully warmed up.
-connect your vacuum guages to each throttle body.
-ensure that there is throttle cable slack on each throttle body. You don't want the cables holding the throttle plates open at this stage.
-set the brass air screws out equal turns on each side. Start with one and a half turns from bottomed.
-start engine (it may not want to idle, so open brass screws another half turn till it idles)and check vacuum guages.... see how far out things are at this stage.
-adjust throttle stop screw(s) so that each throttle body is set-up exactly the same.
-Once the throttle bodies are adjusted so that the vacuum is exactly the same at idle, start to remove slack from the throttle cables so that vacuum stays the same on each side as the throttle is opened.
-above all, you want the throttle plates to rest on the stops at idle and the cables adjusted with enough slack to allow this to happen. DO NOT tighten the cables too much as this causes the throttle plates to "bounce" at idle and wears out the throttle plate shaft bores quickly.

I think that about covers it, Post back if you have questions.

83 honda cx650 smoking one day not the next

The sputtering was a bit of water in the bad gas you got and the smoke was probably from a bit of diesel fuel that was put into a gasoline storage tank in error. The temp guage going bad is just one of those things that happen from time to time, probably just a bad sensor. The idle speed change is a bit quirky but easy to adjust. Stick a fresh set of plugs in the bike and the starting problem should clear up.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

Bike wont start

What do you mean "take out 1 plug"? Spark plug's plug?
Spark plugs are renewed?
You should also check the gears/sprockets that connects the starting motor with the crankshaft if all of them can spin freely around their pin.

I had the same problem with my 636. It turned out to be just a cable problem. Try to see if all the electric cables work correctly and connected.

Good Luck,

Wont start without a jump

It's handy to have a cheap multimeter for this kind of problem and you could tell pretty quick is the battery is at fault or you just need to clean some cable connections. It could be either one.
Turn your headlight on and try to start the bike; if the headlight goes out when you turn the4 key, the battery is down or one of its terminals needs cleaning. If the light stays on but the starter only ticks, then the bad connection is at the starter.
