The standard mix is 32 to1. That is 4 ounces of two stroke engine oil per gallon of gas. Do not use motor oil in the gas. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Do you know the gas mixture ratio for a cpi oliver 50 scooter

Its been a while since I've seen a two stroke scooter but usually there is a oil tank that you keep full and the scooter takes that oil and mixes it with the fuel worry free. You don't have to pre-mix it like weedeaters and chainsaws. Just make sure that oil tank is always full. I found this manual:

On page 5, it shows where the oil tank is and on page 34, it states in a footnote on the bottom of that chart, that they specify synthetic oil. Keep a bottle of two stroke oil in the storage compartment at all times and check when you refuel. The engine will over heat and lock up if you forget to keep the oil filled.

Does a Yamaha PY80 use pre mixed fuel or use standard fuel and mix it internally. If it uses a pre mix could you please tell me the ratio? Thank You Gary

There should be a reservoir under the seat. Keep this topped up with 2 stroke oil. It will last ages but do remember to check occasionally as running without will screw the engine. Best way is to always keep some oil in stock, if you empty a can buy another straight away so you NEVER run out.

How much oil is mixed with the tank of gas?

The easiest way is you need to start with a 1 gal gas container and mark/label it 2 Stroke Fuel. All your Pre-mix oils give you instructions for the ratio of ounces of pre-mix to gallons of gas. You can normally find a plastic syringe that is labeled in ounces to use if you purchase your Pre-mix in larger volumns than the single use packets. I would also recommend using a fuel stabilizer such as Sta-bil to put in the gas to keep the stored fuel from breaking down.

Do i mix the casstrole oil with the petrol for the aprilia 125

It depends if you still have a pre mix tank already fitted. Mine came with the pre mix tank taken off. It is a white coloured container in a fairly flat shape on the 98 model which should be underneath the seat when you lift it. Not sure about newer models. It should have 2 stroke oil in (quite often pink). If not I have been advised to mix the 2 stroke with the petrol at about 50:1 ratio, however I would check with your local motorcycle shop or Aprilia dealer. Alternatively get a workshop manual for the correct year of bike and it will give you all the information you need in there. Also if the tank runs to empty it has to be bled otherwise if air is in the pre mix tank it can cause damage to the engine.

Was just given one of these with no manual.... what is the oil to gas ratio??

Is it a 2 stroke or 4 stroke? if it has a plug on the bottom above the blade to drain oil (look under the deck on the bottom of the engine) it is a 4 stroke and you do not mix gas / oil in this type of engine. It works just like your car, change the oil every 2 months and keep good gas in the tank. If the engine has no oil plug to drain oil it is a 2 stroke and you do need to mix the oil / gas. is should mix at a 1 to 32 ratio. use low ash oil.

What reatio of gas to oil? And what kind of oil?

32:1 / 40:1 will be fine.... your choice of pre-mix oil...pick your fav brand . use a ratio-right cup and make it simple

  1. Pump one gallon of gasoline into a gas can. Ads by Google
    '; for(i = 0; i '+ '' + google_ads[i].line1 + ' ' + google_ads[i].line2 + ' ' + google_ads[i].line3 + '

  2. 2Measure out the proper amount of two cycle oil in the Ratio Rite.
  3. 3Pour the required amount of oil into the gas can with the gasoline.
  4. 4Shake the container lightly until all of the oil is thoroughly mixed in with the gasoline.

I have a mercury 25, 2 stroke, need to know what type of oil and the ratio of oil to gas

I would use Mercury 2 stroke comes in a black bottle with a red label. Also you can use Quicksilver brand...that is made by Mercury but marketed to sell to stores like Wal Mart. If you are breaking in a new or rebuilt engine then you mix 100:1 for the first two tanks. Any normal application you should be running 50:1 all the time. Keep in mind that I have been to Mercury School and this is coming straight from the horses mouth. No matter what it says on the tank, or what anyone else tells should always be running at 50:1 unless you are in the break in period of the engine.

How do i disconnect the oil pump/injection system, Fuel oil ratio

Hi Dan,
Why do you want to disconnect the vital oil supply? If you are experiencing too much blue smoke or plugs oiling you can adjust the amount of oil fed to the engine via the secondary oil pump cable, the one that splits off from the throttle to the carb.
If you disconnect the cable it also stops the oil pump sending oil to inlet, winding out adjuster increases oil screwing in reduces.
As for ratio? trial and error as No knowledge/specification is available for Oil injected engines, poss 25:1 to start but don't blame me if you seize?
Quality synthetic oil is always a must, did you know you can also purchase smokeless two stroke oil?
Good Luck!

40:1 fuel mix ratio is good for this model. you put gas in the upper tank and 2 stroke oil in lower tank the mix pump will do the mix, if you are not sure the pump is working properly, mix 4 ounces of 2 stroke oil into 1 gallon of gasoline and put the mix in the upper tank, it reach the carburator by gravity
