If your bike is equipped with a carburetor, remove the air filter cover and you'll see a square looking top on the carb. Jutst to the right of this is a screw. This is the throttle stop screw. Turning it clockwise increases the idle speed. If your bike is fuel injected, you'll have to take it somewhere to have the idle set as it is done electronically.

Good Luck

LA105 mower won't move when put into gear

Is this happening in all gears or just one? Is the motor bogging at all. If not chances are the problem is in the drive belt to the transmission or in the transmission itself. Check to make sure you are getting it into gear. you should be able to feel the transmission hit a notch for each gear. If you can't, chances are the little module in the top of the trans that sets the gears has broken and needs to be replaced. Often these get sticky before going bad. If the motor is running normally though, it's not the engine, it's drive belt or transmission. with the mower off, you can check the drive belt tension by simply having the clutch pedal in the out (drive) position. In that position the drive belt should be tight enough that you really can't slide it in either direction without causing motion on the motor pulley. If it has slack in it, then your clutch is probably out of adjustment or your drive belt has stretched beyond it's working life. Have you smelled burning rubber at all.. if so the belt is probably slipping. If not, it's more likely that it's in the transmission.

THE CHAIN RIDES OVER THE LARGEST REAR COG,AND DOESN'T CHANGE DOWN TO THE SMALLEST,CHANGING UP TO THE LARGEST COG,IT IS ON IT AND STILL ANOTHER GEAR CHANGE TO GO

Hi,

This one's easy enough.. If you move the derailer through it's full stretch you will see that part of it will be blocked in each direction by a small screw. These screw adjusters are to stop the chain from running over the end gears, and sometimes if they're too tight they can stop the chain from reaching the gears in the first place.
A small screwdriver is all you should need, turn the bike upside down, loosen these screws completely and then change gear to one end first until it runs smoothly on the chain and then do the same with the other.
These are designed to be adjustable so you can add or remove gears/change wheel sizes etc and then readjust to run smoothly..

Hope this helps..

When im rideing the bike and cuming into 2nd & 3rd gears it feels like the gears are jumping or slipping and i dont know why this is

Either the shift cable is out of adjustment, the system may need lubrication, or the chain may be worn out. Try some light oil on the chain and shift mechanism pivot points. If it is the cable, try to determine if the bike shifts more easily to a higher or lower gear. Try turning the little barrel adjuster where the cable enters the shift mechanism a half turn counter-clockwise. If that makes it better, keep doing that until it seems good. If that makes it worse, go the other way.

86 mustang 5.0 fuel injected. At cold, starts great and runs stong and firm. After driving about 10-15 mins it starts sputtering and wants to lope and die at idle. Driving, it hardly idles at a stop and...

Your fuel air mixture is wrong. Just like a choke. When it is cold it dumps more fuel in, when it warms up it is supposed to mix in more air. It does not seem to be doing this. You need to have that adjusted. In the meantime you can adjust you idle a little higher. You can do this by adjust a screw where the throttle cable sits on top of the engine.... Please give a good rating, it reaaly means a lot. Please feel free to keep in touch

Noise in trans or in primary chain

It sounds like the primary drive chain is loose. The way I adjust mine is to take off the upper left inspection cover, start the bike and slowly tighten the adjuster until it starts to wine, then back off until it stops. Rev it slowly and listen for a wine. No wine good to go.

What grade oil goes into a 1998 isuzu kb280dt le gearbox

Clutch adjustment is ussually the cause of such a problem.... oil grade should not have a bearing on the issue; try to lenghen your adjustment rod a little more. For now you can change your shifting habits...Put the trans in first before cranking the engine and before coming to a stop a light...youll soon get the feel of at what speed it will drop right into first, usually just before coming to a stop.
