Question about 1989 Honda GL 1500 Gold Wing
Having owned a Gold Wing, and changing the windshield several times, remove all the bolts connecting the shield to the fairing. Slowly peel the shield away from the foam or adhesive. Make sure to replace foam or adhesive before putting new shield on.Make sure not to over tighten the bolts, and make sure to replace the rings around the bolts ,they spread out the tension,so as not to cause a stress point. It is really a two person job, get help.
