How to remove pulley from alternator 2006 toyota avalon 3.5l?

the way to remove pulleys from most alternators would be to use a gear/pully puller these gear pullers use a ratchet to push the pulley off of the shaft

Do i need a fuse puller for a 1997 mercury sable wagon?

Most fuses are very difficult to remove by hand from an auto fuse box.

There is usually a plastic fuse puller either clipped to the fuse box cover or on the fuse panel itself (usually the inside fuse panel - if you are trying to pull one from the the fuse panel under the hood and you don't see a puller, look in the fuse box in the interior of you Sable).

If you don't have a fuse puller, try a set of electronics tweezers or standard tweezers. Good luck!

I have a 1990 Cadillac Deville 4.5 PFI that will not hardle run. This started after my son ran it hot. I can unplug the alternator and take off the BAT wire and it runs great. I have tried hooking these up...

That sounds like a real puzzle.
What you're basically saying (at least this is what it seems to me), the engine runs great when it's just running on battery power, but when you connect the alternator the engine starts to run poorly. Is that a fair assessment?
If that's the case, it could just be too much voltage for a marginally functional coil... just guessing. Understand that just battery voltage will be slightly below 12 VDC, and when you connect the alternator it will start running at between 13.5 and 14.5 VDC.
It could also be that when it's running at the higher voltage there is more output from the coil, resulting in some ignition arcing. If the inside of the distributor is damp from when the engine overheated, you could be getting arcing there. If that's not it, try running the engine in the dark and look for any arcing.
That's the best I can come up with given the limited knowledge of the vehicle. Sure wish I could be there to look at it with you. Like I said, it's a real puzzle.

Removed altanator but cant get it out.

Alternators are held in by 2 bolts, and a fan belt running thru the alternator puller.
The 1st bolts is one the one that allows you to pivot the alternator to take up the slack on the fanbelt. The fanbelt runs from a puller wheel which is spun by the engine.
The 2nd bolt is the one which allows the alternator to pivot on during the adjustment mentioned above.

I have 1999 Volkswagen Beetle with 2.0 and Sanden SD7v16 A/C compressor. Does it take a special puller to remove and install the clutch

Almost all a/c compressors for the last 20 years require a puller/installer. Look at the hub where the retaining nut on the compressor shaft is... look for threads inside this hub. If they are there you will most certainly need the tools. Remove the retaining nut from the shaft, screw the puller into the hub's internal threads, tighter the center bolt on the puller to push against the compressor shaft. This pushes the clutch off. To install, screw the center section (bolt) of the installer over the threaded shaft, turn the outer portion to push the clutch back onto unit. This will all become clear once you see the tools. Make certain you obtain the correct tooling as there are different pullers/installers for various compressors.

I want to remove the magneto from a Yamaha xt350 1997. I bought the magneto puller tool from Yamaha. I don't know what to do with it. It is an xt-350. Not in the list of model, so i entered xt-600 instead...

Back the screw handle out so the end of the screw is inside the the large collar. Remove the nut and washer holding the flywheel on the crankshaft. Screw the puller collar fully into the flywheel. Now turn the screw handle inward to contact the end of the crankshaft. Tighten the handle down then strike the handle arm with a hammer for extra pressure on the screw. Next, strike the center of the screw with the hammer. Alternate strikes between the center screw and the screw handle. Do that until the flywheel pops free. Some pullers have flats for wrenches instead of a screw arm. The principle for removal is the same.

How do i remove the magneto flywheel from a yamaha dt 175 1991 model? tapered or threaded shaft?

You will need a flywheel puller, ( dealer can sell you one > low cost ), and a hammer.
Remove the nut and washer holding the flywheel. Now screw the puller into the flywheel as far as it will easily go. Be sure to back off the pullers' center screw when mounting puller. Tighten the center screw REALLY tight then firmly strike the center of the puller screw with a medium size hammer. Alternate tightening the center screw and striking with the hammer. To tighten the center screw you will want to strike the screw handel with medium hammer force. A few blows with the hammer should pop the flywheel.
....
Please rate this answer after all is done. Thanks.
