I had the same bike, there is a fuel sensor under the tank, they tend to go bad sometimes. As for the temperature issue, I'm not sure why it would go blank? I had the same bike, loved it.

Stops firing on middle 2 cylinders when it gets to running temp

The coil is probably breaking down internally when the heat rises. The only other possibility is the electronic ignition going bad. Have a dealer check the bike before spending bucks on a new coil when the old one may actually be good.

Clutch not working?

First, drain the gearbox oil and put fresh 10w40 oil in it along with a new oil filter. . Ride the bike for a day then change the oil again. The filter doesn't need to change again. This should flush out dirty, gritty oil driving the clutch plates. Replace the clutch cable. It is probably the original and lacks lubrication.

This will probably take care of the problem.
