Question about Harley Davidson FXD - FXDI Dyna Super Glide Motorcycles

1 Answer

Just switched out my Risers and Handlebars on my CVO 2000 Dyna Fat Bob. Now my left turn signal, front and rear, as well as the left turn signal indicator light are permanently on when the ignition is on. It tries to blink when I push the turn signal switch, it gets a little brighter.

I'd guess that you have a problem with the wires coming from your left turn signal switch. I'd check all those wires. Did you have to lengthen your wires? if so, how did you do it? It really sounds like the two wires coming from the switch are pinched under something that is cutting into both wires.

Good Luck

How to fix overheating problems while touring

Hi Phil, and the usual suspects are:
1. Insufficient oil supply or oil not circulating.
2. Insufficient air flow over the engine.
3. Heavy carbon deposit in combustion chamber.
4. Ignition timing retarded due to faulty MAP, CKP and/or CMP sensors.
5. Leaking intake or exhaust valve.
6. No oil cooler.
7. Normal engine oil tempurature 180-220 degrees.
Good luck

Engine shuts off stopping

You could/should provide a whole lot more description of the problem and circumstances than this. Without more if your bike just quits at idle but will start and run otherwise it could well be the IAC. However if it is it will se a DTC and you should first see what codes are set, if any.
