Question about 1987 Suzuki GV 1400 Cavalcade LXE
Place on Center stand, Remove both side panniers, remove licence tag, remove lower rear mudguard, it attaches with 3 nuts/bolts behind licence tag and 2 bolts either side of lower pannier lower chrome, you may have to remove the muffler mounting bolt on each side, remove the bolt from the front of the brake caliper, remove the rear wheel axle, lift the brake caliper out of the way as best you can without disconnecting the brake hose, remove all spacers and washers noting where thay came from, slide wheel to the right and roll backwards.
Refit in reverse order confirming washer/spacer positioning is the same as before.
Or you can hoist the bike in the air and work from underneath, I haven't tried this method.

Front 28 rear 32 add 4 for riding double(from the Clymer manual).
Tire inflation pressure for factory equipped tires. Aftermarket tires may require different inflation pressure.
