It sounds like bad coils to me. Coils should never arc from the coil wire, case or anywhere else. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

I have a 2002 Honda civc 1.7 and im getting a repeated miss fire in cylinder 2

Remove the coil from cylinder 2 and put it on cylinder 3 and put the coil from 3, onto the plug in cylinder 2. Then restart and see if now cylinder 3 is misfiring. If it is, then your coil is bad., if #2 is still misfiring, pull the spark plug and replace it.

Firing order on cb750 1974 honda

left coil feeds 1 and 4...right coil feeds 2 and long as you stick to this it doesn't matter which lead goes to which plug. Left coil will have one short lead and one long...short =1...long = 4. Right coil leads will be about even in length...doesn't matter which goes to 2 or 3.
It's a wasted spark system so plugs 1 and 4 fire together...2 and 3 fire together...only 1 cylinder in each pair will be compressed and ready to fire when the spark happens, the other will be empty and coming on to it's inlet stroke...

Motorcycles Not getting spark from back 2 plugs

Sounds like you have power to the coil, but the coil is faulty and not producing a spark.

Remove the coils. Put power to it, you should get a spark when you remove the negative lead.

these are dual spark coils. this means that each coil sparks twice on companion cylinders.two leads out of one coil to the two middle cylinders and the two leads out of the other coil go to the two outside cylinders it doesnt matter which coil, but usually one of them has two long leads and the other two shorter leads

Right side breaking up at 5000 rpm

Try the cheapest route first. Have you installed new spark plugs? Spark plug caps are notorious for going bad on this model. Unscrew the caps from the end of the wires and check them with an ohm meter. If they read higher or lower than 5000 ohms, replace the spark plug caps. You might also have a bad coil wire. Unfortunately, the coil and wire are sold together. You could spray some water on the right wire, when it is dark, to see if there is arcing or shorting on the wire. If so, replace the coil and wire. New Honda part if available, a good salvage part It might be just as old or as bad as the one you take off.), or Accel makes some good aftermarket coil sets with wires.
