My 1998 Kawasaki jet ski is sluggish on take /

Probably need a fuel system clean out and or a new carb. Also check engine compression and make sure it is at minimum psi. The reed vales between carb and engine may worn out. To be honest, since its so old it is probably time to consider replacing it or rebuilding the engine if hull is in good shape. You may not be able to even get the parts for it.

I have a 2000 kawasaki zx6r. i layed it down at about 50 and put new plastics on a took off carbs and cleaned them because of throttle stick well when i put them back on i synced the carbs and it revs...

You might still have clogged pilot jets, also check the cold start circuit and idle circuits, when you synce the carbs did you do them at idle and 6k rpm?

Have 24 hp kaw. engine on Cub lawn mower. At idle, engine is erratic, revs, then slows, revs, then slows.

Hello. The usual cause of carb "hunting", is a weak governer spring. Although it might look fine it may not be and I would replace it. Another possible cause is a float problem. Finally it could also be the fuel filter or a chunk of debris in the carburator.

Jerking like fuel cut off when slow down

You might try to sync the carbs and adjust the pilots but sounds like you are due for a carb cleaning.

Have a 97 Suzuki GSXR750 that is sluggish in first till about 30mph then gets up and goes. any Ideas as to why?

It is a carb(s) problem in that the low speed side of the carbs is blocked by debris or varnished frpm bad gas. Pull the carbs, clean them and you will be back in business! The process of pulling the carbs is a bit detailed for this forum, so I suggest getting a manual from your local library and follow the carb removal instructions. it isnt that difficult and can be done in a couple of hours. Be sure to use a good carb cleaner (such as STP from the auto parts store) best wishes!
