Question about Suzuki Tempter GR 650 Motorcycles

I have a 2000 cushman 3 wheel atm police vehicle.model #898487 W/SUZUKI 3 cylinder fuel inject motor, after 5 miles of driving each time motor shuts off, won't start immediately, have to wait 15 minutes, then will start and run fine for 5 more miles

Sounds like an air vent issue in the fuel system. if no air can get in no fuel can get out. next time take the fuel cap off and see if you hear a whooshing sound. if you do, you found the problem.

It sounds more like the source is at the wheel itself. Check the bearings on it, they could be shot.

I have a 2007 Suzuki xl7. When I first start down the road it seems to drive fine but within 1/2 to 1 mile it starts running very rough, leaping along. This goes for about another 1 to 3 miles. It runs...

im not sure what you are saying.
it runs ok cold, and as it warms , the engine. it stalls.?
and what does same thing mean.?
my guess, it starts fine then stalls; hot.
but can you save the stall?

stalling is complex. can be many systems in the car.
but can be broken down to :
Ever did the 60k mile tune up,ever? if not why not.
never skip 60k\'s or the motor will run like garbage.


1: lost electrical power. to EFI .
2: bad engine, in that when it gets hot , it loses compression.
3: lost park. 1 or more cylinders, 4 or 6 you never said.
4: bad injection. 1 or 6 of them, flooding or starving.
5: bad fuel.
6:EGR sticking , usually this happens just before a stop sign.
7: if the stall was a bog and the fast right foot saved the stall, easy
the ISC is sticking closed.

2000 vw cabrio runs normal and shuts down, takes 5 to 20 minutes to restart, engine cranks but doesnt start, changed ignition coil, pulled diagnostic codes getting short to ground codes on cylinder...


On some models, the Engine Control unit has a power supply relay. These relays some times get internal dry solder points. After driving for some time the the solder will get hot and separate. When it cools down it makes contact again. You will have to replace this relay or open it up and re- solder the solder joints. The relay is usually located on the main relay station in position 3. the relay station is located behind the right dash panel.[right hand drive vehicles]. You may need to refer to a manual for your specific model to find the exact location of the relay.

I own a 2000 Jaguar S-type 3.0 and it won't shut off. I turn on the car and when I turn the key to shut it off it will stay running, I can even take the key out of the ignition and drive the car. Does...


There is a phenomenon is called ''Dieseling'' and can have
several causes.

Basically there is some alternate source of ignition apart
from the spark.

This could be glowing carbon deposits, a sharp thin edge of
metal glowing, using a poor(low octane) fuel. too much
methanol in the fuel, wrong heat range spark plugs and
several others.

This used to be quite common with carburated motors however
with fuel injection and ignition off there should have been
no fuel entering the cylinder so it should not have been
able to not run on.

I would conclude that although the key was removed the the
ignition and fuel injection systems were still energized.

Things to check or have fixed.
1) timing
2) motor running (Idling) to fast
3) the motor may be ruining rich (stuck choke )
4) over heating
all of the above can cause run on..It might need a tune up
if it happens again here's a couple of things you can do to kill (stop) the motor.
1) if its an automatic leave it in gear when you shut it off the extra pull on it well stop the motor.
2) if its a manual transmission put it in gear and let the clutch out with your foot on the brake and it well stop the motor..

get it to a repair shop asap..
