Not normally if it's in neutral. Most bikes will start in gear with the clutch pulled in.

Hi mate my hyosung gt250r started randomly stalling while I was ridding, thought it was the kickstand cable, yesterday I went to start it started fine but cut off when I put it in gear, Anny ideas why

It does sound like a kickstand sensor issue, as the sensor only works when the bike is in gear. To check, you can bypass the sensor by disconnecting it's cable and then joining the two wires together so there's a permanent electrical connection. If that solves the problem, you need a new kickstand sensor.

What is the meaning for an error code "S" on the panel of my goldwing Honda 1800??

Just a guess, but could it be a kickstand (sidestand) warning light, to alert you so you don't ride off with the kickstand down?

Maybe there's a switch at the kickstand that needs adjusting.

I have a 95 CBR600f3 that won't start while the kickstand is down. Is this normal or is there a sensor that may have gone out?

Thgis is normal ... it is a safety interlock. Put the side stand in the storage position before you start and you will be just fine.

Kickstand switch broken in the harness. I need to know where the green and black kickstand switch wires connect so I can by-pass the *&%^%* thing. Thanks!! Peppers

Together. The kickstand just interupts the start circuit. But! Replace the switch asap. A forgotten down kickstand will ruin your day. Goode luck, Ned

Kickstand kill switch inop

Connect the two wires together that goes to the kickstand it should keep it from starting. With wires unpluged it should start.
If that is the case you need a switch
