Question about Bimota DB5 Mille Motorcycles
Hi, Bamababy2881 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. SOURCE: Rear cylinder not firing
The first thing I would do is replace the spark plugs again. You can foul a plug and it will cause you more problems than you can ever imagine. I see you have done all the logical things that I would recommend but I did not see you have replaced the plugs after the 200 miles. You would be surprised at how many times a $2.00 part can cause fits beyond belief.

SOURCE: valve adjustment
Not sure what the Merc marine motors are like, but this style of motorcycle engine are twin overhead cam with bucket and shim type adjustments valve lash adjustments. Best way to tell you to go about this is to download a full manual from here, it has detailed procedures and everything you need to know to set the valve adjustments. Thanks for using FixYa, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my time to get this info to you. Cheers

SOURCE: No fire to plugs
hi mate,, pretty rare 4 these babies to pack up ,,but if there is no spark,,1st thing u will have to get checked is the cdi box,, which operates the sparking system, as well as the coils,, rare that the coils pack up,, check the wires on the coils b4 u go any further,, make sure they are all secure,, and pull of the plug caps and just snip a bit of the ht wire ,,ie the big thick wire from the coil to the plug ,,snip a bit of the cap end so u can see a couple strands of copper wire in the core of the ht wire,, then replace the cap,, if all that is cool,, then its a cdi prob,, if u can see if u can borro one to try out,, any probs come back and step 2 il take u threw,, cheers
