I have been right through my workshop manual and there is no reference to speeds and revs.
It sounds about right to me as it is midway in the power band giving a good overall performance.
My bike, on the otherhand, revs to a maximum of 4500 RPM with max torq around 2200 RPM. Yes it's a very old Harley!

It's likely a broken piston ring, worn out piston rings, or faulty valve seal(s)... However, it could easily be some other thing... like crankcase ventilation valves, lines or hoses...cracked block... I know.. I'm not being much help... but, a good mechanic can probably zero in on the problem...

Sounds like You may need a carb mixture adjustment and re-syncing of the carbs.

I have an 04 suzuki 600 wont rev past 9 and cant go over 90 mph the fi light is on

Well if sounds like possible a vacuum modulator or if the fluid and filter haven't been changed in say 40,000 miles or more I would recommend changing the tranny fluid and tranny filter.

the frame should be the same. the difference between the gsx and gsxr, is that one is a two stroke and one is a four stroke. the frames should be the same. what are you doing with these bike, first.......
