2007 HARLEY SOFT TAIL DELUX I AM BLOWING THE FUSE FOR THE TURN SIGNALS AND TAIL LIGHTS

Hi Michael, If you did any with wiring just before all this started go back to that first and check with a test lite for a grounded power wire that is bare, broke or pinched. If not check underneath the fender or remove the fender to see if rear wheel has rubbed any wires there. You can isolate sections by disconecting the electrical plugs in the turn signal and tailite circuit. Good luck

there is a nut on the other end of the bolt,it would have loosened whilst it was tight against the nut but now the nut has no friction from whatever it was tight against it will just spin.there must be access to the nut it is connected to.

My tail lights are out on my 2008 HD Softail Night Train. The blinkers work. The front lights all work. The brake lights work. Its just both the rear tail lights are out. What should i do?

Hi Collegekid62, always check the bulbs first for broken filaments. Then check the connection at the rear fender wiring harness, inspect for corroded, broken or loose pins. Use a dab of dielectric grease and repair as necessary. Check your brake relay if you have one , some models rear turn signals were single filament bulbs only, no running light. Decode harley davidson FXSTC .

FX - Base model big twin.
ST - Soft Tail
C - Custom

The C usually just means more options from the factory such as, more chrome, optional paint choices, spokes instead of mags, etc. etc.

If it was a standard FXST, it would be the base model with little dress up items on it.

Harley davidson presure tires custom soft tail

It depends on the size of your tires really. The Softail Custom had the 5.00(MH90)16 rear and the 2.75(MT90)front tire. The pressure for a single rider should be 30 psi in the rear and 30psi in the front. For two up riding, increase the rear tire to 36 psi.
