Question about 2007 Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade

1 Answer

My 07 CBR 1000RR kills over after 4 mins of running. It has been in the garage for a year and half as I was deployed overseas for a year and than moved into an area with long winters. I replaced the battery and oil and it will run than start to sputter after a few mins than turn off. any ideas?

Did you replace the gas? Use a gas stabilizer? Have you changed the fuel filter? Very important if you are letting a gas powered engine sit for any length of time. I suggest removing the tank, or if you can do it with the tank in place, flush it out, and replace the fuel filter.

Does anyone have a service manual for a 2004 cbr 1000rr fireblade

Hi, Allen the vast majority of service, parts, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. I have a 2004 Honda CBR 1000 RR and my bike takes 2 or 3 tries to start it just started doing it but after started it runs fine only when it sits just want to know what I can start looking for to fix

Hi, Samuel I always suggest running a can of fuel stabilizer (Sea Foam) in the fuel tank to eliminate possible injector clogging issues when the possibility of a fuel related issue exists for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the websites below. 2007 honda cbr 1000rr no power to fuel pump

then it has to be one of two things only....a blown fuse or a broken wiring.
or if you dumped the bike you might have tripped the bank/tilt sensor.
i believe to reset it turn key on and cycle kill switch the turn key off then try to start..im not to sure as hoe to reset it but you could always try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes that might reset it.
