I have a 2000 Husqvarna 360 wr and decided to order an extra throttle cable. The cable I received is too short. The housing is the correct length, but the wire cable itself is 1/2 in. too short. The throttle adjustments are already fully in on the carb top and throttle housing. The part number matches up (PART # 8000 92308). The dealership just left it as "Husqvarna probably changed something that they are not aware of". Any help would be appreciated. Steve Cruse - Topeka, KS

Steve, The dealership has the responsibility to provide the correct part in return for the money you paid them. Return the unusable part and request the dealer to research what is needed in order to get the correct part. For your part, you don't care that the dealer was unaware of a change. As a dealer representing the manufacturer, they should be aware of changes. In reality, the wrong part was ordered or was picked off the shelf incorrectly at the warehouse. The worst case is you get your money back and check out a different dealer.

Routing cables for throttle after replacing handlebars

you should take the cables into a motorcycle shop to be shortened to the correct length. extra long cables can melt on the exhaust and then stick and can be dangerous. also rerouting cables can cause extra stress if they are not strait enough to operate correctly...

Throttle cable

If you're not changing bar, just measure the length of the outer cable housing and get the same size.

The cable is held into the housing by a small spring clip that fits into a groove on the cable's ferrule.

With a small screwdriver, pick out the clip, and pull the cable out of the housing.

Fuel lines came off husky wr 360 98 anybody know correct placements

The main fuel line goes from the fuel tap (pet cock) on the fuel tank to the fuel nipple on the left side of the carburetor. All other (small hoses) are just over flows that should be routed down and out of the way near the swing arm.

I don't know how much transmission oil need the Husqvarna wr360, 2000. I was buy this bike but I don't know how changing oil.

There is a screw on the side of the lower unit, you remove this screw, fill with proper lubricant and then hold the bike upright, it will then overflow to the proper level.

Need to replace out of stock throttle cables on 1984 Honda XR350R

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.

I checked and they have your throttle cables in stock.

Broken husqvarna kick starter (94 husky wr 360)

You are prbably going to have to pull the engine and split the cases just to get to the guts of the kick starter, but the good news is sounds like a broken spring. I only recommend spliting the cases if you are very experienced.
