You need to get an impact driver. Most any good tool store will have them. Sears if nowhere else. They last forever and are a mechanics most used tool. You usee whatever size socket you want then strike the tool with a hammer. The nut will break free with one or two strikes. Below is a photo. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

How do I replace the knife unit in a krups type 243 blender?

Take the blade assembly out of the jug, hold the blades with a towel and turn the driving clutch on the other end. Whichever way the motor turns those blades when operating, you need to turn the drive the opposite way to undo it. If the nut is seized up and wrecks the drive the parts list shows all parts as being available EXCEPT the white bearing housing AND the complete assembled blade and housing.

How do i pull the clutch assembly on a 84 fxrs

Disconnect the battery. Drain the primary oil and remove the outer primary cover. Remove the four bolts that hold the clutch spring in. Remove the clutch spring and pressure plate. Then, you can remove the friction and steel plates. If you want to remove the entire clutch assembly, you'll have to remove the nut from the transmission mainshaft and remove the sprocket shaft nut. The mainshaft nut that holds the clutch assembly on has LEFT-HANDED THREADS. Once you get the nut off, you'll need a clutch puller to get the clutch assembly off the tapered transmission mainshaft. Get one of the pullers that screw onto the mainshaft and you rap it with a hammer. You do not have to disassemble the clutch assembly completely to remove it from the mainshaft. You can take it off as a unit by removing the snap ring in the center and removing the adjuster plate. Remove the sprocket shaft nut, the chain adjuster nut, and the mainshaft nut and remove the engine sprocket, primary chain and clutch assembly all together.

Good Luck

It realy depends on wheather it has an internal clutch, or an external clutch, if the clutch is internal it is a straight forward job, start by removing the retaining c clip from the end of the crank, remove the washer, the drum shoud now just slid off, be carful not to lose the needle bearing, assembly is simply the reverse, if your machine has an external clutch you will need to remove the clutch first, there is normally a nut on the outside of the clutch, or two half circle cut-a-ways in the clutch centre, these are to take a special tool ( a cylinder with two pins and a 19mm nut on the top ) the part number of this tool is 530031112, the clutch is a left hand thread, undo clockwise, do not be tempted to use a screw driver or punch on the centre spider as it may snap the legs off.

I need to know how to put a new oil gasket 1986 honda xl 100cc. is it as simple as taking out the bolts that hold it on and slide in a new gasket? Thanks

If it is on the right hand side of the bike then yes. Remove the clutch cable by undoing the adjustment nuts on the engine side of the cable and unhooking from the lever. Remove the nut on the gearshift pedal and pull of the pedal. Remove the dipstick. Undo all the nuts on the cover, and remove it. Locate the new gasket on the engine. There are 2 locating dowels so it should not have diffyculty staying in place. Replace the cover and clutch cable and readjust the clutch cable.
On the left hand side of the engine is a bit more tricky as the oil is not leaking past the gasket on the cover itself. There are 2 places where it can leak from. One is behind the drive sprocket. Remove the cover. Undo the nut on the sprocket. Bend back the tabs on the locking plate and remove the sprocket. Drive a self tapping screw into the shaft seal and pull it out with a pair of pliers. Drive a new on back in place. Also see this :
If the leak is from behind the alternator you will have to remove the magneto. This is diffycult as you need a puller to get the flywheel off the crank. Then the alternator assembly and only then will you be able to reach the shaft seal. This can be removed as per the previous link.

I need to change the clutch on my 1981 Kawasawki KE125

It should be under the left side engine case. un do case screws, remove clutch cable, the clutch should have a series of plates and are held in a basket with a big nut in the centre holding it on to the crank, remove nut and it all should slide off towards you. replace plates and replace every thing in the reverse order, when done make sure that there is 1/4 inch of play in the adjustment of the clutch lever. This means when you pull in the clutch you should not feel any resistance for the first 1/4 clutch lever travel. also when trying to undo clutch centre nut, put the bike in gear and put a steel bar through the spokes of the wheel held against the swing arm to lock up the engine to undo the nut and tighten it.
