Got a suzuki bandit GSF 600 1998, bikes been fine for a while until this morning when i got pulled over by the police for not having my backlight on. Has all been working fine but since this morning my backlight wont turn on, only when i press the brake, so i know the bulbs good. Have checked for loose wires and any burns but cannot see any problem. Any idea's?

Hi,,it sounds like a wire in the indicator circuit is shorting out somewhere,,,for starters remove the head light,,trace where the indicator wires go from the indicator switch, and check all the wires all the way to the rear indicators,,,look for loose or burnt connections.

good luck

My Suzuki GSF 650s bandit K5 has just failed MOT due to headlight beam being too low.Neither allen key at rear of dash will make it go any higher.Any ideas how to adjust higher?

The adjustment you were doing was the horizontal (left/right) adjust.
The vertical adjust is under the cowling. With the bike parked, and the wheel turned left, look down the hole in front of the handlebars, below the tach. You can see the nut (allen key type) to the left of the plug-in for the bulb. Hope this helps. I have a 2005 Bandit 650S.

Changing the time on the clock on my suzuki gsf 650 k6

Typically Suzuki bikes all set the same way. Turn the ignition on, press the select and reset buttons together. The trick is to press the reset marginally before the select and hold them until the time starts to blink, you will work out pretty easily which button alters hours and minutes.

I HAVE A SUZUKI GSF650 BANDIT K6 PROBLEM, I'VE REMOVED THE FUEL TANK , AND WHEN I RE- ASSEMBLE IT IT SEEMS I MISS PLACED THE UNDER TABK WIRES , AND THE BIKE IS NOT WORKING !

it just like you said...you'll have to take the tank, seat, and fairings back off and search everywhere for them..they'll be there, unless someone cut them off.....you might have to put in some extra time start at the rear and work forward..hope you find them.

Ive lost the manuel for my 2005 Suzuki GSF 650 Bandit k5. Is there somewhere i can download a free copy?

http://www.manualesdemecanica.com/en/service-manuals.html?func=fileinfo&id=603

"This manual contains an introductory description on the SUZUKI GSF650/S and procedures for its inspection/service and overhaul of its main components."

You need to register, but it's free. Don't know if they spam alot, but it might me a good idea to use some other e-mail account than your primary one.

Regards,
Chris
