Most commonly the flasher relay, cheap to replace, just plugs in, available at most bike repair shops and some motor factors.
To verify it is the relay, locate it, check it's connector plug isn't green and corroded, and if it is of the two pin type, a short piece of wire bridging the two connecting wires should illuminate the indicators, (ignition=on, and turn signal switch pressed, naturally,
Hope this helps

After working on my Suzuki 1400 intruder 1999 the turn signals work on the left side but not on the right, is it the bulbs blew or is there a fuse for this

Hi, Henry you should go back to the work you just and look for clues pinched wires etc.before diagnosing any turn signal/running light/parking light issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If you have replaced you OEM lights with LED lights you are going to need a load equalizer. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity. Lights keep blowing the fuse

You can pull the light apart and check the amperage they require since they are not the factory headlights they most likely have a higher amp requirement and find out what that is and then install the proper required fuse for them. Also be sure to check and see if the wires are properly hooked up and wrapped properly and are not grounding out on any metal or other wires. This should solve your problems. Might also want to see if the headlight relay is also the proper one to cover the amps they require as well. Hope this works for u and good luck

I have a 2002 suzuki intruder 1400, the parking lights work in the front but not in the back, all turn signals work though

The simplest first thing you can do is make sure the bulbs are good. I doubt it has anything to do with the jumping. It is 12V, right?

My headlamp and speedometer bulb both suddenly went out. neither hi or low beam works. i pulled the headlamp bulb and it looks fine. what else might be wrong? Is there a fuse somewhere?

the fuses are near the battery housing - suzuki usually have a clear plastic case on the left side of the battery - check these fuses - the dash/clock gets its power from a relay (also near the battery) which in turn gets its power from a main fuse near the battery.
