Hi,,you have a shortage going on,,check the wires,also could have moisture in the switch.

I laid over my 2010 harley Electra ultra classic at roughly 25mph on a wet road the other day. Aside from a few scratches everything seems fine. I've run the diagnostic and everything comes up negative....


it blew the fuse for the fuel pump when it fell over and there is a 30 or 40 amp fuse down by the belt that blows and kills everything and that is probably is what happened

Starter clicks when you push starter button


Hi Anonymous, and the usual suspects are:
1.Ignition/Light Key Switch not in IGNITION position.
2.Engine Stop switch in the OFF position.
3.Discharged battery, loose or corroded connections (solenoid chatters).
4. Bank Angle Sensor tripped and Ignition/Light Key Switch not cycled to Off and then back to Ignition
5. Starter control circuit, relay or solenoid faulty.
6. Electric starter shaft pinion gear not engaging or over-running clutch slipping.

Tri Glide won't start

1.Ignition/Light Key Switch not in IGNITION position.
2.Engine Stop switch in the OFF position.

2004 ultra classic when using the starter button will not trn power to starter makes radio light go out and will not start bike does not do this all the time

Ultra classic blowing ingnition fuse


Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. Blows ignition fuse when key is turned on


Look for a grounded wire on the ignition switch or a break in the wiring leading to the fuse. Wiring system on motorcycles are a close system with only the battery being grounded to the frame. Any loose connections or breaks in the wires that will allow the current to jump to the frame with cause you tons of fun.
