I would check the Lucar connectors from the battery, through the ignition switch and down through the coil to the points.

My 1970 Honda cb100 will not start, I've cleaned the rust out of the tank and gave it fresh gas, cleaned the carb and checked the jets for any debris. I have spark and compression, the only thing that I am...

Congratulations on owning a fine classic motorcycle. Best to start about 1 1/2 turns out. Maybe you can get some better advice from the guy or gal at the parts counter at your Honda Shop.

My 72 cb100 won't idle or start with the headlight

Your magneto charging system is too weak to provide enough juice for the light and starting. Something in your charging system is old and weak and not providing the juice you need as well as the battery may be weak and not providing enough extra juice to do both starting and running the light. The head light will draw quite a bit of current from you battery.

Fuel mixture fOr cb100 are thet two stroke?

The Honda CB100 has a 4-stroke, single cylinder engine. It runs on straight gasoline, so you don't need to add any 2-stroke premix when you fuel up. On the other hand, you'll probably want to check your valve clearances about every 1500 miles or so--these little engines get run pretty hard, and valves out of adjustment will rob you of desperately needed power. With only 1 cylinder and 2 valves, this doesn't take long at all, once you've done the job a few times.

Hello, I am rebuilding a '72 Honda CB100 and am having trouble routing the cables under the tank area, around the frame backbone. This would be the trottle cable and clutch cable. Is there an online...

The cable routing guides for new bikes was only to set up the handle bars.
From memory the throttle runs down the RHSof the frame and used to run through a guide mounted off the coil through bolt.
I think the clutch goes around the steering head and also goes down the RHS

Check that spark is good. Make sure carb floats and jets are clean. Needles and seat also tend to get worn and warped and need replacing which is very common.
